[Question] Anyone have experience with advertising on Adnow native ads?

If yes, did you have a positive experience?
If no, could you please clarify further so all of us can be wary of using this as a traffic source?

Appreciate your time taken to answer the above question. Thank you.

Seems like no one has any experience with this network. Well,I will just have to test the traffic quality out personally in this case.

Do you run traffic on revcontent, contentad or MGID?
Im mostly running on revcontent. PM me if you are interested to connect and discuss about strategy and such.

Watching this.

Tested with a marketing budget of $1k. Zero returns. Adnow interface is very poorly designed with limited option for traffic targeting (geo, age group, etc). Maybe my expectation were too high for this native ad network.

I tested with USA/ Asia traffic but none converted using email submit offer, freebies, and even casual dating niches. I bid on the high end of the traffic to ensure that I am getting the best quality possible. $0.10-$0.20 per click.

To make it worse, I cannot setup the hourly amount of traffic that I want. Basically you set the budget and the system will go crazy eating up the budget as fast as possible. URL tracking with third party is not possible. They only allow java tracking or pixel, basically you need to have access to the webpage to insert the code into the [body] section. Which is not possible if you are promoting CPA offers.

Approval of campaign is very fast less than 15min.

Overall, I do not recommend this traffic to advertiser for CPA offers. Maybe other offers might work out but definitely not CPA offers.

Thank you for checking back with me and your review.

Sorry to hear about the results, that must sting for sure.

I also had kinda of a high expectation after seeing something positive about them just can't remember what it was but after reading about their dashboard and results it does sound shitty.

Plus so few people here that used it might say something.

Yes absolutely no targeting available. You can only select GEOs. Not going to be a good source of traffic unless you have a generic offer. Well I hope more people on this forum can share their media buying experiences so that we can all learn from potential pitfalls and improve our media buying experiences.

Bing/Facebook/Adwords are good traffic source for sure. However as marketers we need to test out new traffic sources. Not all offers can be promoted through these channels. As advertisers are mostly doing those advertising themselves through those platform and most of them exclude these channels as traffic sources. :)

You are talking rubbish.

There are many sources outside fb, Bing and Google that convert and advertising on the first three doesn't guarantee you anything.

Advanced CPA is about testing and buying data which also means losing money sometimes.

That's how the game goes. I would have taken a different approach but still could lose just as easy.

I think for native ads to work well, it is important to have a blog style presell page to gain the trust of the audience. Direct linking to offer will not work well since people who click on the banner are usually looking for extension to the content that they are reading on site. This explains why healthcare, diet, etc offers converts well. Adcombo has very good presell page aka fake blog but they do not provide local language banner ads.

However my main concern still lies with targeting option. In this case, I think Mediavenus has better option compared to adnow. The issue with mediavenus is that bulk of their traffics are from Romania or Eastern Europe. Limited traffics available for CPC native ad option. I am also advertising on mediavenus so if you want to exchange experiences, feel free to ask. :)

AdCombo.. gheghe I see them on many forums and I'm also registered with them but I consider them BH. Haven't really used them yet.

They indeed have nice looking landingpages but their funnel sucks IMO. I checked a couple diet offers in my native tongue which looked fine but after a customer signs up on the first page it then gets redirected to an English page where they need to leave their number and where is stated they will be called, instant Red flag.

I love to read about any of your experiences.

Wow, thanks for sharing. I did not know that as I do not usually subscribe and go through the whole order process. I think adcombo is COD network right? The call is essential to confirm delivery right?

Subscribed! Thanks honestIM for sharing your experience.

I really don't know for sure as I never used them but by the looks of it they are.

I get daily mails from them and most of the offers I get are diet and health/beauty care and all their Landers are about the same.

Nice colors, clear text, well designed but the funnel seems to be the same for most of them and that is the customer needs to be called.

Now I don't have any stats about how well they convert but I know for a fact it will raise red flags with many people purely because almost no webshop where you can buy similar items will call you so it seems out of the ordinary.

I just did a check on their site again. Yes they are doing cash on delivery so there is a need to get phone numbers to call. Customer do not input their credit card details at all and pay only upon arrival of the products that they order. I read from another thread on BHW that during those calls, the marketing team will try to upsell to make more profits. So even though they pay you commission like $10, do not assume that they are looking to only selling one product. Smart marketing move I guess.

I assume they are doing something good as I've seen their banner on most marketing forums but still it's a format I'm not used to and I would never leave my number, I don't like being called by strangers in the first place.:)
