Removing all posts !

Hello everyone ,
i have an instagram account with 40k followers last few posts were doing good performance ( ~900 -700 likes ) but the all ones before them were only around 200 likes and they really destroyed my engagement states , so my question is should i remove all previous posts on my ig account ? and start over ?

I'm no expert in Instagram, I don't even use it. However I fail to see what benefit removing your posts will have.

it's the likes per posts rate , say in current state i have an average of 300 likes per post , if i remove them all and keep on posting and receiving (~900 -700 likes ) per post , it'll be an average of 800 likes per post , that boosts the engagement rate significantly , i hope you get the idea

Yeah I sort of understood that. It's just that I doubt it will reset these stats. I'm sure Instagram would still be taking these stats into account. However like I said, I know nothing about Instagram.

Deleting all of your posts will not solve the root of the problem (low engagement rates on recent posts), it will only give the appearance of doing so. I'd suggest maybe deleting only the posts with low engagement and try to increase interaction with your followers (like, comment, DM, watch stories, etc..)
