All top 15 in red

Wow, every coin in the top 100 right now is in the red except Electroneum, which already did its plummet a few days earlier.

Want to know my thoughts? Keep holding on, it'll probably go back up. There are plenty of days where most of the big stocks in the S&P 500 are in the red. Or maybe it won't. But most of you will end up in the green regardless.

Here is what is unsettling to me:
  1. There are a good 5-10 theories in here that are nothing but musings attempting to be shown as factual. Most of you guys don't know shit and are talking out your ass to try and sound educated.
  2. Damn @zionbar is about to have an aneurysm in this thread. I can't tell if he's a pro crypto trader or a former stock trader who is attempting to push his knowledge into crypto and it's not working out so well. All I know is he suddenly appears to be a psychic, even though at the end of July he posted that he had zero interest in crypto at all. Regardless, he's given out some of the best advice in this section so far.
  3. If the whole "bitcoin.com co-founder sold his bitcoin" really is some of the reason for this, it sure is great news that one person making one decision in a decentralized environment has the ability to drop crypto value by over $100 billion in 24 hours.
Remember, until you cash out, it's fake money. Time to put your money where your mouthes are and ride the drop until it goes back up. Listen to your anonymous gurus. Maybe this is nothing. Maybe it's the whole shebang. Nobody fucking knows.

EDIT: In the time it took me to type this, global cryptocurrency market cap dropped another $12 billion. And I type fast.

We will find out in few days it`s up or down!

Yes, that is generally how things work. Good job.

EDIT TWO: And now it's dropped another $7 billion and is under $500 billion.

I'm honestly very worried, I mean did the BTC ever go down THIS quickly? This is insane. And the LTC and ETH too.
I don't want to panic sell but right now I'm really worried that the bubble bursted and we're all losing our money.

Ok I had enough I`m going for a walk, and when I`m back Bitcoin better be back where it was at $19k:D

I dont know if its a good thing that I dont have enough money to have BTC or bad thing right now :D

100% with you man.
And just because I didn't know anything about crypto in July doesn't mean i'll stay stupid and won't learn a bout crypto :) I learn from my mistakes, should've had my eyes peeled-open and actually i shouldve entered crypto back in 2013.

Second, if anyone is selling right now they either
1. absolutely don't understand crypto, and of course they don't understand trading
2. or traded money they can't afford to lose.

For me, I got around 10K invested in crypto, if it does crash to 0 (highly highly highly and even more highly and then some more highly, UNLIKELY) I won't even know an event took place, because I don't "need" these 10K I can live without them.

Last, i'll start a thread when i get some time and give some basic trading tips that people in this section MUST understand because im worried for people here, seriously i didnt know its that bad.

Some ominous looking seven-day sparklines on https://coinmarketcap.com/ right now. Everything in the top 15 is down at least 22%. Some are down over 40% in the past 24 hours.

End of days boys.

Perhaps it's just me...
I actually sold high and will begin buying low.
I don't see how this is being described as "if anyone is selling right now they either
1. absolutely don't understand crypto, and of course they don't understand trading.

I believe you are misinformed about the process of earning.
I'll go a step further and say I want BTC to drop further so I can go crypto shopping for Xmas.
1. I bought low
2. I sold high
3. Looking for bargains throughout the board.

You did the reverse from what your post indicates... you have shared valuable info in the past weeks but your post above is evidence you have allot to learn my friend.

I guess what a lot of newbies fail to understand: the big money & professionals are now joining the bandwagon...and they'll take every chance to flush out the noobs for their gain.
Even though trading volumens at the cme are currently still little, you can now short btc.

in a normal market you wouldn't see moves this extreme (and thank the lord we don't, as it would crash our whole system)... but in BTC..

well if the newbies see rising quotes they buy with the dollar signs in their eyes and if it falls they panic. I'm thankful for each such major dip.

fun fact: We are currently contesting very interesting levels...btc could in fact drop to the 8k range if more noobs decide to panic-sell. Currently I believe the buy side will regain their hold - but let's watch.

I didn't do any "reverse" im still holding everything in fact just bought some more ltc and eth this morning... don't worry about me bro worry about yourself i was trading forex and stocks when you were playing with your pee pee.. chill

Second you can take profits or you can go long, I didn't take any profits because im not day-trading crypto, if you are good for you but its definitely not the only way.

Panic my friend. That is stage for of a bubble:D

Honestly everyone panicking right now need to realize that every coin has gone up 300+% at a fast rate lately this is just a market correction which was bound to happen at some point, just ride it out and hold and then eventually it'll correct itself and begin the rise again 2018 is a big year for cryptos.
Take a breath and read this: https:// pastebin.com/raw/JKf4wFkN

You're playing against the big boys who have a LOT of money to throw at this - i.e. $MILLIONS, and they want to make money.

So they back it on the way up and create as much hype as possible to make as much money as possible while all of the "get rich quick without understanding anything or knowing what you're doing" join the party, then....

They sell out into the volume and short it hugely to crash it.

They make shitloads on the way up, and even more on the way down, because they know the little players - i.e. you, are driven by greed on the way up, and fear on the way down, and as soon as the price starts dropping all of the suckers will sell, sell, sell like there's no tomorrow.

I did post up the graph of the south sea bubble to forewarn you all, but I guess it fell on deaf ears.

Ok I went for $12750 at the end of the day but looking back obvious targets are around $10800 and if it hits that the next logical area will be $9500. I dont trade crytpos, just currencies and it's weird all the action is on cryptos today and currencies are as flat as a pancake. This looks to be all part of a planned move started at the beginning of December and now taking advantage of holiday season etc to take massive profits back.
