Hi, I am a newbie and I hope you will find it okay to help. I have worked so hard this year and managed to save $700. My desire is to work harder and transform it into at least $5000 within a 3-month span. I have been reading some posts here on IM and I will give at least one a try. In the meantime, please help me with some new ideas on how to realize my dream. Thank you.

Your dream is off. IM has a much higher standard of failing than other ventures. I failed to make a penny on my investment for months.
Learn, test and slowly invest your money. Jump in and try and make 5k within 3m and you'll leave with nothing.

Invest in bitcoins, double is possible for sure in 3 months. Another option is reselling services.

The weird and at the same time exciting thing with IM is that you can invest say $700 (your budget) and not make a dime from ROI, while another person can start with 0$ and make $5000 in 3 months if they will know what to do. It's all about having a plan and carrying it on until it works.
To answer your question in an honest way, if you want high-risk with high ROI potential within the day, then go for sports betting. My preference is football (soccer for the US folks).
A suggestion for today would be:
1) Open an account on Bet365
2) Bet on Levante vs. Leganes (Levante to win) and Barcelona B vs. Albacete (Barcelona B to win).
3) The total coefficients for both matches for those teams to win is 5.13. So if you bet $700, you could expect a return of $3591 (close to $5000 but within today, not 3 months, so much better for you).

You can start some Instagram account and grow it using your $700 ( by buying shoutouts and tags, etc ) and after you reach some fair amounts of followers you can start selling shoutouts. It's a good way to make money off instagram (or) do Instagram + CPA( you should learn more about this )

Great to hear from someone who has tried IM and failed. Indeed, I will be a bit cautious when investing my money. By the way, which IM exactly did you try out?Did you try email marketing?

Do Not invest in BTC , it's not going to be 100,000$ in 3 months (it's almost 20,000$ now and i think it's just a bubble that will blow)
