Resurrecting website...a simple question

Hi guys, I'm resurrecting a website on a good domain I bought for my new PBN. I'm going to slip in a link to my money site but I have a question as to how to do this:

1) Should I first publish the old version of the website, wait until it is reindexed, and then update the site to add my money site link inside? Or...
2) Can I add my new link from the start and post the new version right away?

When you buy the expired domain, do you not check if it's expired? I always make sure that the domain is indexed. Then I add fresh content.

So if I understand correctly, you suggest I reupload the old site, get it indexed, and then add my fresh content?

It's my mistake, sorry. I meant to say "Do you not check if it's indexed?" I can't edit it.

I make sure that expired domain is indexed before I buy it. Then I buy it and install WP with fresh content.

Rebuild the site, give it some time to rest and get indexed, a month or two and then try to post a new article that's somewhat connected to the previous content of the domain and to your money site as well. This is called repurposing. You do not want your link on completely unrelated article. Ideally you want your article to be SEOed for a longtail of some of your main keywords.

You are missing out on a Goldmine... for what, the 8.99 you might lose?

Do not submit anything anywhere. Let everything index naturally and then wait for a couple months.
