When checking my competitor's backlinks I've found this page:

mod edit: link removed

Section #4 has 6 links (except link to Google maps). Not all of them are underlined, so better see source code. Links are inserted right inside the article. All of linked sites are ranking well in their niches, including my competitor. He has dozens of same kind of links and outranks everybody in my niche. This link building strategy is extremely effective.
Does anyone know how to do this?
I am not new in SEO, I know that this is against Google rules and dangerous.
This does not look like manual link buying. This process is definitely automated, like in SAPE, but as far as I know SAPE does not allow to change the content and insert links inside.
What else? Any ideas? How do they do that?

If he has many links like that and hes not doing them manually then he just creates content with headings and hyperlinks as well. then he uploads it on his pbns and maybe schedule. thats it

i don't get what you mean ... he has some contextual links in section 4 .... that's what everybody is doing so where exactly is your question?

Method what working usually is not in line with Google guidelines :)
SHAPE is effective as there are several other SWLs

OK, guys. Look at their web archive:

mod edit: link removed

Now compare how section #4 looked like in March and how it looks now. All this links are not natural. They were added later for SEO. Also, piece of text was added to make this look more natural. This doesn't look like usual PBN. This site either hacked or sells links. I want to know exactly, maybe someone knows here

@AlphaUA, I think I know the source of this and what kind of link this is.. The URL and site is familiar to me but I hav to check and verify tomorrow in my comp, together with backup screenshots. I saw this post when I'm already in bed. Links are inserted in very subtlety.

BTW, if this is a dark SEO, would u still gamble for it?

i know sape but this site isn't from sape network but i'm sure it's something from the similar network

Sure. PM me if you know something. Hope you can help me

No, it is a hacked link. These guys thinks they are very smart about but they dont. Their MO: they do go backdoor, then change the sentence and add your link naturally, making it look like it's already there. They do this manually. They sell it like "niche edits" or "link injection".

I have confirmed this, because as I mentioned on my previous threads before (which I closed), I have the list of the sites they hacked and use it for SEO purposes, and I will post screenshot later. Takes time for me to check conversations in new GUI of Skype now. I'll provide proper evidences to prove this.

And oh, if you're wondering why they all the links placed there are ranking, is because...
1. They're real sites
2. The guy behind this is doing a lot of JVs from different people
3. These people are associated with CF

Search the thread that I posted with the title "Evidences to prove paypal..." (for reference)

Pls dont use CF acronym. it stands for cloudflare. If you mean Charles Floate then say it to avoid misunderstanding

I really wanted to. But I really wanna move on,from this and them. Too much drama from their side because i expose them. Called me a scammer and a liar, when they are the ones deceiving people, and i have evidence and screenshots to prove it.

However, every day more and more and more people still are becoming victim of them.

Yeah you might be thinking that their strategies are damn good, cuz if you think of it, it really is. Who would not rank if you're exploiting somebody else's website vulnerabilities and hack in to put your link. If you greedy enough to rake money at the expense of others, be my guest, but i won't do it.

I'm still not in my computer but i promise i will upload the screenshots.

Hacked websites but in a shitty way.. If they are good, know one would know about these links except google crawler.

Sure it will work.. and I dont see how it harms the website owner!!

There's been a big problem with people buying wordpress plugins that are extensively used, editing them to have a back door, then using that to add links to peoples sites.

Fast Secure Contact Form is one that's recently been pulled by the Wp repository for this, a captcha plugin was another.

Hacking peoples sites seems to be the prefered method at the mo.

@W9go Aside from contextual, there are hidden links there.

I also saw a couple more throughout the text. The site is riddled with them.
