What is the theme, and plugins, used to create such site/pages:

Also the expanding 'Show pros & cons' sections? And the tables (doesn't look like tablepress or anything)?

Is it all one theme? or a combination of theme and plugins? Or is it all custom made?

And how did they display related widget posts on the sidebar?

It is using a react.js theme. Whole thing is in javascript on the server.

Only the blog of this website is uses wordpress and it uses custom theme called "nerdwallet". The plugin used in this blog are only "wp-bakery page builder" and "seo by yoast". The /rates part is custom code.

Seems like the same template, but this one is in Wordpress.

How did they create the expanding tables? The BuiltWith says 'tablepress', but I do not think it is.

With tablepress additional extentions it can be possible easily. You need to purchase those extensions according to your needs at their website https://tablepress.org/extensions/

i dont want to upset you, but you can learn to do all these themes with a page building app

i am learning my self to master theme bulding and cloning with drag and drop plugin.

being honest , them themes most probley was built same way and sold as seen and re packaged .

I looked through the extensions, and they are definitively using something else, not table press.
