Does it matter where my followers come from?

So basically a lot of pages make money with a certain link in their bio. A company reaches out to a certain page to advertise for them. A link to the company's website is posted in the bio. Each visitor click ( bio ) can give you a certain amount of money ( for example $0.05 ).
Also if it is a website where they sell stuff and the buyer gets redirected from your link you earn a percentage of that purchase. This is all basic stuff obviously.

Now my question:
Does it matter who clicks on the link? For example: I can Imagine than a clicker from the US is more worth that a clicker from India. Obviously the clicker from the US is probably more likely to buy something than the clicker from India. Not being racist here or whatever Im just trying to understand how this works exactly.

Bottomline: Is my page more worth if I have more followers from the US/europe than from other countries?

You are right ], few countries convert better then other like US better and India is hard to convert. Top English speaking countries pay way more than third world.

Yes, quality of traffic matters. To compare to SEO -- there are keywords with 10 monthly searches that are more profitable than keywords with 10k monthly searches. It depends on:

• Your conversion rate (what percent of people buy / do the thing you want them to do)
• The value of a conversion (how much profit you make per sale / how much profit you get for the action being done)

As you've mentioned, you get a percent of sales made from your affiliate link. Consider the math:

• Sending 100 users who each have a 10% chance of buying something that will make you $75 profit
  • 100 * 10% * $75 = $750
• Sending 10,000 users who each have a 0.1% chance of buying something that will make you $20 profit
  • 10,000 * 0.1% * $20 = 200

And in a lot of cases, a 0.1% conversion rate is a generous estimate when you're talking about irrelevant or poor-quality traffic. In a lot of cases, irrelevant traffic will essentially have a 0% conversion rate no matter how much you have:

• 80 year old Indian professors will never buy skateboards
• 19 year old females will never buy viagra
• 12 year olds will never buy anything, because they have no money

And so on and so forth.

Thanks, well in my case I have 29% of my followers from the US with most followers being between 18-40 years ( 71% men ). The rest is 4% from Brazil, the UK, india and italy.
Im trying to sustain the US followers but its not easy.
Basically when I am getting approached ( which will take a while considering I dont have that many followers yet ) I will have to look into what the interest is of my followers for the best possible profits right?
