I agree with you mate. If it is not working for you, don't think that it applies to all because others are making money out of any strategy set in place. You just got to find what fits for you and capitalize on it. If this method is not working for you, try to find another method.

What do you guys use for automating the slideshow creation? Is there a tool that would be able to take the pictures from a folder, create a slideshow with them and then proceed to the next folder automatically?

Make slideshows on Powerpoint and then convert that file into a video.

I intend to scrape the pictures of products off amazon and I need a software which would be able to automatically create a slideshow for each product

I can't imagine anyone creating tens or hundreds of slideshows in PowerPoint and converting them in video files...it's too time consuming.
