Its nothing spectacular or massive like $1k per month but a simple proof that you can earn if you focus and invest your time or money.

NOTE: This is not a method, its just a journey/case study about how anyone can earn money online if they have patience and afford the luxury of time.

I bought the Amazon Site from this service (https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/3...3000-words-responsive-design-hurry-up.831718/ ). I opted for Professional Package with discount. I got the site in April 2017 and I started working on it.

Following were the stats of the keword/niche

best blue widget = 1,900 Searches / $0.32 EPC / 28 KD

I selected an EMD domain for this site.

Once I got the site, I did some On-Page on it as well as made some changes in site structure/design. Also added a cache plugin and speed up the site.

I re-write some parts of the content, especially on homepage, adding more keywords in headings that I found during my On-Page research.

Once everything is perfect, I started Off-Page.

The very first service i bought was web 2.0 service in May 2017 . I bought 30 Web 2.0 package from this guy

https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/w...anually-created-2-tier-layers-only-29.713197/

Then I waited.

After 2 months my site was ranking on 5th Page on its main keyword.

The next step I took was adding more content in the site. I added more reviews and some more content on homepage.

This finally pushed my site on 3rd page after 1 month. However the good thing was I somehow now ranked on 5trh page of Google on the GENERIC TERM of my niche i.e. "blue widgets"

Like any SEO, this motivates me hugely & I bought another service from BHW i.e High TF Comments

(Unfortunately That dude thread was banned due to fake reviews, i guess, so no link here however I still use him via Emaill :D)

Interestingly that service pushed my site to 2nd page.

After that I simply start adding more content on biweekly (fortnightly) basis.

After a couple of weeks, my site is on 1st spot on almost all possible combinations of that product/niche.

In August, after 4 months of starting the site, my first earnings came which then increases gradually each month afterwards.

Aug = $10.59
Sep = $17.10
Oct = $44.68
Nov = $134.11
Dec (so far) = $144.11

Investments:

Site = $34 (this price was after discount)
Content = $40
Comments = $17
Web 2.0 = $135
Domain = $11
Hosting = Already have

Total Investment =$237

So now i m earning just profits.

TIME IS NOW THE MAIN INVESTMENT

I recently worked with a couple of amazons sites, all started on fresh domains and majorly involve free link building.

The average ranking time for these sites were 6 - 8 months. May be it can be reduced by using PBN but i haven't tried them, as honestly I haven't found the one with good results. Either the good ones are expensive or you have to built your own, which I am not very fond of.

Final Words:

You are on BHW. That means you know shit more than some so called SEO experts. I can't tell you anything better when it comes to what to do or how to do. You already know it. I am just gonna share my opinion with you in next lines.

Not everyone can afford 6 months for their earnings. However if you have that luxury then start 2 - 3 projects MAX and work on them regularly. You don't have to buy services instead you can build links, like web 2.0, yourself. Try different things on different sites so in the end you have some insights on what is working and what's not. For example, every web 2.0 behave differently when it comes to ranking. Some HIGHEST DA PA web 2.0 can actully hurt your rankings. You can only know these things when you experiment yourself. No one will tell you, including me, which top 10 web 2.0 can gives you the maximum ranking boost.

You have to find it yourself. Nothing is FAIR in the world.

Lastly, you can do everything shared in this thread by yourself, without spending any money, except hosting & domain.

Search niches, use free trials of tools for kw difficulty and competition, But most importantly remember the cliche suggestion that nothing gonna happen overnight.

So if you have only 3 months to earn for your life or your bills depending on it, you might not be able to make it. Consider atleast 6 months for any site before it starts giving you back something.

There are other ways for quick earnings like CPA or Youtube which are more suitable for quick bucks but there is NO GUARANTEE about anything.

In the end, a little tip for the people feeling motivated = To find niches go to sites like reviewlab.com or thoroughlyreviewed.com. They have several RESEARCHED niches. All you have to do is pick the easiest one and build a niche site around it.

Good Luck!

Inspiring and informational. Congratulations on your success. Thanks for sharing

Congrats,

I always wanted to see a case study on amazon affiliate website bought from BHW. i always thought that most of them sell junk sites.

I too have same opinion bout BHW sellers here i.e. most of them are not worth it. Infact I faced some TAT issues with the service I mentioned as well. However 2 of that guy's websites has already ranked and 3rd is on 6th page in google. So its only fair to give credit where due :)

when you order links what kind of anchor text do you choose? do you just choose exact or do you add some generic?
also i got like 4k words homepage with a lot of variations of my main kw and first month i ranked for my main kw on 3 page but after like 6 months and handfull of links my website dropped to 200 position, my anchor ratio is under 1%, do you have any tips how to get back on track? I plan to buy some link but im afraid and dont want to waste more money :(

I always use SINGLE word for anchor text. For example if your keyword is "best blue widget" , I'll use "best", "blue" and "widget" . Never used naked url or generic terms like "click here".

Tools like ahref and some seo gurus are simply complicating things by mentioning things that users cant control and. in my opinion, the anchor ratio is one of those things. No body knows what % you should use to get better rankings. No one can tell you the exact percentage, no matter how expert they are. Just stick to old school seo basics, like anchor variations, related keywords etc. Dont get too obsessed with things like % etc.

As in your case, it seems like a penalty. Try to corroborate ranking drop with any major SEO update. What was the last thing you did before ranking drop.
If nothing found, I will start with de-optimizing site by removing some keywords from title etc. If the site is hit due to content issues, it will bounce back within a month, if its because of links, as per my experience, you are better off with a new site rather than keep working on the one that is confirmed penalized.

Nice and inspiring journey. good luck

Thanks, very interesting
