Here's a couple of IG experiments for you to try for fun.
Follow without follow - You can follow someone without following them. Find a user that you don't follow and like about 5-10 of their posts. Now when you go to the explorer page that user with keep showing up. Every time you see them, like a few more of their post and they will continue to show up in your explorer feed.
Another one, find a user in a niche completely outside of what you normally would follow and follow them. Now for the next day or two watch your new followers and see how many you get from this new niche. I've also experimented with unfollowing a big account in my niche then following the again just to make it look like a new follow.
What other quirks have you found?
