So I want to get some guys opinions that actually understand this business on a dispute I am having with someone I sold a website to on flippa. About 4 or 5 months ago I sold a guy a website for $5k that used a method that I have used for a long time. The site was making about $2k a month then. The method takes some labor and lets be honest every in this business wants something for nothing. So his first month the site made about $1400 but he was complaining he didnt have time to do the marketing because he worked full time. A few months go by and in three months he had made back about $3400 out of the $5k he paid for the site. The way I see it is on fllippa if a site even make anything you should consider yourself lucky with so many scams.

But I always try to ensure the buyers are happy so I give him another method and he is making good money but still complains it takes to much work even though I was very upfront about what had to be done each day. The whole reason I had sold him the site was I had moved over to a facebook method that worked better but I spend a lot of time and money testing methods so he wanted me to give him that method for free.

I told him I had spend thousands and thousands of dollars testing and months figuring out what worked and I was not going to just give away a different method but he felt since he bought a site that I should share all my methods.

Well I finally tell him that I will share the method if I get 30% of the NET revenues from the site each month because my new method took no work at all. So he says "I would do that for a month or two" and my reply was I dont want to give away a method that I could use on a site and then sell on flippa for $5k for free" and that if I did that he would just pay me a little money after one month and then make a lot of money.

So I tell him I am not interested in just a short term thing but I would show him for 30%. A few days later he skypes me again and say "Ok lets do the 30%" so I assuem he is ok with the terms.

So the first month he makes $9k in adsense income and close to $6k profit which means I will get about $1700 on that. Then the next month the site is on target to do about $15k with about $9k in profit so that means $2700. Now he says he is only paying for one month and then it is his method.

He feels he is taking all the risk which there is no risk after the first month because he made enough profit to cover any further overhead. He is in the same country and I know I can sue him but I really hate doing that and no one wins. He wants to pay me $2k and then end the partnership now that he realizes how much money he is going to make.

So would you be a jerk and go after him or just take the $2k?

You're an idiot. You shouldn't have given him your method. Should've told him to fuck right off. But OP, i'd like your method and I'll scale it 100x and pay you 30% :p

I would go after him for the 30%

you are weak in business .

why the hell did you even get involved after the sale ?

he tried it on and won sorry to say .

he not just got your methods but your website aswell

he laughing all the way to the bank on your back ...

if it all true tell him to fuck off

you need to grow balls in business not give the world away over a sale.

why would anybody give a method away that worked on with thousands of pounds involved.

are you dumb or are you trying to get rep on this forum

or are you going to open a bst ...

dont make human scence at all

you got no business scence or being clever to sell your method or methods

dont take offence all sounds to fishy ...

You shouldn't have given him your method. It was obvious that he was not going to stick to his word. People nowadays don't practice word of honor anymore. Did you even have him sign a contract that if he breaks the agreement, he would suffer serious consequences? I think you should fight for what you worked so hard on.

legally he fucked that up, he gave in , there laugh in court , unless can prove being mentally ill or brain problams....

he told them vollentery even if verbally forced can still say no

take the 2k and call it quits ...

I wouldn’t have gave his lazy ass shit in the first place. I pretty sure this was already said. If you can delegate the headache without it hurting your pockets get a Lawyer and make his life hell for a couple of months. Let his ass know the door that he’s shutting that can lead to even more money.

It makes a lot of sense. It is called capital. I already spend $30k a month on fb ads. So I am getting 30% on a site that I have to invest no money into it so I am make $1700 a month doing nothing and investing no money. Has nothing to do with balls it has to do with building residual income without investing money into it. So I reinvest the $1700 a month from him and it turns into $4k the net month and that $4k turns into $8k the next so it is a way to grow residual income. But that was not the point. The point was is it worth fighting in court.

And as far as sharing a method he did pay $5k on flippa for one method so it was not me sharing as much as it was keeping a customer happy and the way I am able to be big money on flippa for sites that only have a few months income history is by having good feedback and a reputation for providing sites that are what I claim they are.

And to answer the question about the agreement yes we had an agreement. His point of view is that since we didnt put a term limit "agreement ends x date" that it was not open ended. No court in the US will accept that point. It would clearly be for the life of the site if you do put an end date to the agreement. I guess the real question is if I sue him and I spend $10k on legal fees what do I have to gain. If they force him to keep paying the 30% he can just not do much with the site and only pay a little money each month.

Would you pay me the money? You’re a scammer. Please people don’t do any business with him. I worked with him and he never paid me anything.

Most likely he is here to sell you something. He will block you on S kype or never reply back.

Sorry? I am not selling anything and not sure who you are but you can send me a message if you would like. I have seven people on my skype and are not one of them so PM me if you want

You're only in this situation because of your poor past decisions. You could have easily sniffed that he would scam you from 100 miles away. Just accept it as a poor decision and move on..

The sad thing is i would gladly partner with someone like you and put in elbowgrease to get those kind of profits. I am curtently trying to establish an online income to get free of the 9 to 5 shackles working for my boss who thinks he is the king of the world. I can spend roughly 6-7 hours each day on IM actions and websites but i have not found anything profitable yet, or rather i am still at the beginning and learing as i go.

Mate, You are a nice person.
Being nice is awesome, but not in a way that makes some people use you for only their benefit.

You have to learn how to do business, Mate.
You have a bright future, but with this kind of thinking, a lot of people in your future business will abuse you.

Like you, I am a nice person, but I know how to do business.
If anything I can help, please tell me.
Wish you all the best, Mate.

I can't believe you kept in contact with him after selling him the site, let alone shared your method with him after all his moaning.

There's no way you are going to sue him as I doubt you are declaring tax on all these earnings in the first place (maybe you are, I don't know), and don't need the attention of the courts. Even if you did sue him, it won't be cost effective. He'll just ditch the site and start afresh, and you'll lose financially because of the legal fees.

You can at least comfort yourself with all the PMs you will now get from newbies asking you to share your method.

Here is what I would do:

1.) If the method is even slightly black/grey hat, I would report his ass to adsense. If his posts are spammy I would report his posts for spam with the hope that the domain gets banned. It will take time, but I don't mind serving revenge even if it costs me time.

2.) If I cannot do any of the things is point #1, I would chalk it up to experience and leave it at that. Lesson learned.
