whats the advantage to using this over just messaging them through the social channel? also are there influencers for instagram? Im willing to try this service just to see what kind of influencers are there. A big dis-advantage is that we cannot see what kinds of accounts we have access to through this marketplace.

When you talk about "campaign pitches", e.g. 50 on the Marketplace Plus - does this mean it's 50 in total, or 50 per month? Thanks.

Good question; this refers to active pitches and is a rolling figure, meaning you could feasibly pitch 50 people, move all the way to a completed transaction and get to another 50 within a month. It's a capacity per campaign on how many people you can be simultaneously engaging with when you pitch. We added the ability to archive; archived campaigns don't count against your capacity.

I'm not sure I got this.
There is no free trial period, but you say that the risk is low because with the discount you can try the platform for $4.50. However, if I do that, and then I want to subscribe to an annual plan, the discount code won't work anymore and I'll have to pay full price?
Is that what you're saying?
What are you selling exactly? Access to a directory, and a messaging system?

The coupon code, BHW50 works on the first charge, so if you used that on an annual plan, it'd make your payment 50% what it'd normally be for that first year. The $4.50 figure was an example on if someone chooses the Marketplace plan on a monthly basis; the example is to show the low amount that the system can be looked at for. This is working so well that I don't anticipate ever bringing back free trials as it has alleviated a lot of headache.

We are a platform and are selling access to that platform; it is a lot more than a smart directory, it is also a messaging and a transactional support system. Find the right influencers based on your goal, message them with a purpose, and work towards completing that goal.

basically we would have to pay plans to access influencers and then pay them for a campaign? thanks. sorry if i'm misunderstanding this. my brain is kinda slow even if i've read the whole thread

What you pay us for is the access to the platform. Each individual influencer has their own rate (much like if you were to reach out to a bunch of bloggers on cold outreach when using a pitch system like Ninjaoutreach or Pitchbox). We don't control the influencers, per se, but we police the system...so if a brand or influencer doesn't uphold their end of the agreed upon transaction, we boot them from the platform.

A few pages back I extolled the virtues of cold vs warm outreach; the short version is because these influencers have signed up with us, they are signaling to you that they WANT to be pitched...so the acceptance rate is automatically at an advantage. As for Instagram, yes, we have 20,000 or so Instagram accounts.

The marketplace plan is purposefully limited; it was a compromise plan to be able to show enough to entry level users to make up for removing free trials after way too much research on the types of brands we wanted and how to still offer enough of the system to prevent abuse. Marketplace Plus and above plans can essentially see everyone in the network -- I anticipate we'll release "top lists" publicly in the next couple of weeks that show a bit of information about some of the influencers (but not everything of course).

Thanks for the question.

"Transactional support system"??
Although I easily understand why influencer-wannabees would sign up -for free- hoping to get free stuff and even cash, I still don't understand what's in it for brands, as it seems to be a totally one-sided proposition. We're expected to sign up to pay $50 a month without having any idea whether your directory will actually make it easier/faster to find/contact the right influencers?
Do you check the influencers who wish to sign up for fake likes and followers? What's your vetting process?

may know the average price of the influencers? thank you

It varies significantly; some influencers are willing to perform reviews for the cost of product; some with 1m+ audiences won't do anything for less than $1000.

Our philosophy is that everyone can technically be an influencer. As easy as it is to fake followers it is just as easy (though more expensive) to fake engagement. We try to be as transparent as possible for brands in the system, to see whom is applying for an opportunity and who is showing up on your search filters. The real metric, then, comes down to usage -- the longer the network exists, the better the data gets on our end. Influencers that don't do what they say they'll do get removed; we track response times, # of replies from initiation to completion...and are wrapping our own metric into that.

The benefit to brands has to do with what KPI you're chasing. If you are selling a physical product on Amazon and you get Amazon reviews, that would hopefully be obvious on what is in it for the brand, since reviews are a component of that particular sorting algo. Let's say the product is fashion or beauty or health or anything else with a strong visual connection: Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube cater specifically to such audiences -- it is like buying a micro advertisement. Your KPI is something different? SEO? Thousands of bloggers are in the network, scored via LinkResearchTools -- the benefit to getting links for search purposes is also straight foward.

As for whether we'd make it easy to connect with influencers, yes, the influencers in our network have signed up to be in the network...this isn't a cold contact list or scrape of data like Ninjaoutreach. Warm outreach has a much higher read rate than a cold email pitch.

My book is going to be published in the next couple of days, but until then maybe this would help you on the various ways you can use the concept -- whether you use Intellifluence or some other network/agency: https://blog.intellifluence.com/the-ultimate-guide-to-using-influencer-marketing-69021bae4b06

***GIVEAWAY***

Having a little fun with my 72 hour thread bump.

As some of you know, I've been writing on the subject of influencer marketing at Intellifluence for well over a year now after 20 years in SEO; that writing then underwent close to 6 months of formatting and editing with my partners at CopyPress, resulting in a 264 page book on everything influencer marketing. Whether you're a brand, agency, SEO, affiliate, aspiring influencer, or manager of influencers, this is for you and is free on Amazon until December 18, so please enjoy, compliments of...me.

The Ultimate Guide to Using Influencer Marketing: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077Y2SQ5P/.

If you're outside the US, just go to your GEO version of Amazon and search for 'ultimate guide to influencer marketing' and you should be able to grab the book in Kindle format.

Very interesting idea. Is there a trial? I mean you sign up but you can't find the "right" influencers for example? I don't mind investing at all (spend quite some money on this forum) but do not like to waste my money either. So is there some kind of option in that regard?

We did away with the trials; the alternative to the trial is the base plan + BHW50 coupon code which allows a brand to test out the basics of the system for $4.50 over a 30 day period.

We have 30,000 influencers with an aggregate reach of over 1 billion. I don't know which other platforms you used, but a lot is going to depend on your need; precisely, the GEO you're targeting, the category the offering is in, how much $ you're offering in your pitch, and the size of the audience you need.

We have ~2500 brands. I might be a bit confused here, but are you saying you registered as an influencer on Intellifluence and only received 1 opportunity? If so, can you send me your profile over PM? I can look to see if it has more to do with where you are located (Thailand?) or if it is a function of something else that is preventing a filter match.

I purchased 1 month copy of Intellifluence and within 24hours, I got 2 links placed on existing articles for $10 and $20 each.

This platform is certainly the future of link building. Establishing a marketplace of bloggers/influencers and brands shopping for what the marketing plan requires for $59 a month, this is a no-brainer.

Put yourself in the blogger's shoes - if you already had content in place and someone offers $10 for 2 minutes to insert a link into an existing article, would you do it? Note: Most bloggers knows nuts about SEO and they will do it for $10.

Is it possible to pay blogger to insert retargeting code for their visitors? Maybe say $10 to insert a line of code in the body section of that specific blog post? This way we can collect data on relevant visitors and then remarket to them through facebook ads or similar. Will help a lot for media buyer in reducing their cost of advertisement.

So OP states; " It varies significantly; some influencers are willing to perform reviews for the cost of product; some with 1m+ audiences won't do anything for less than $1000."

Yet you're saying with some of these people, they're willing to drop links in for $10 / $20

That's right. That's what I'm saying.

Two things.

1. Has anyone from this site tried this ? If so what is the rate of success?
2. Why arent some free trials (if even 5 day trials) allowed for persons here. The major players of this type of offering does this.
