Switching from Shopify to Woocomerce

I am struggling with this, maybe I picked the wrong niche, I feel it's a waste 30$/month for not having any sales in return + I can't track what are the viewers doing on website with Shopify.

Is hard to set everything up from Shopify to Woocomerce? I currently dropship from Aliexpress, will it be possible to still implement clothes from the same supplier? I want to have the same shop, maybe even better since woocomerce has plugins from what I heard and I can take the time to set them up

Yes, it's easy to make the migration, but it also depends on your knowledge on the topic. Cart2Cart plugin on Wordpress will easily let you import all your products from Shopify to Woocommerce. About the website design, it depends too. Most of the shopify themes don't work on wordpress and vice-versa.

I found Woocommerce to be a pain in the ass overall, not to mention slow unless you've got a solid host to setup. I'd recommend you stick with Shopify, especially if you're new. Go mow a lawn so you can afford the $30 monthly.

If you know how to optimize Wordpress, images, SEO and you want to use that in your store, then definitely go for it. It might be a bit more work than Shopify, but no monthly costs are great. With Shopify you are paying 360$ for 1 year, while WooCommerce is free.

*p.s. Also the templates are way better on WooCommerce, and they don't cost 180$. Check Themeforest.com

probably, but at the same time it doesn't help either so I have to cut expenses somewhere

Shopify is simple and easier. You have been doing this since september so you should little by little star to get more sales and get to the track. But if you don't, then start looking other options like woocommerce or even different method. Change things up, learn what works and not. There can be tens of reason why you don't get sales. Bad niche, shop looks bad, bad marketing etc.

If you have the time to learn wordpress/woocommerce then go for it. I personally use woocommerce because it's completly free and it's more flexible (plugins etc.) but for newbies with $150+ start money shopify should be ok. Also you can use woodropship plugin to import products fast from aliexpress.

Stick to your Shopify, i dont think woocommerce is the better option. Woocommerce is good for small Shops thats right. Try to get more sales, try to find out why the people are not buying.
What are your Numbers.. tell us. Visitors, On Time and so on.
And what about Shopware, i thought it is also for free.
Maybe we can help you there to get some improvements. Just a changing of a System does not make any sales.

I prefer WP over Shopify any day. The plugins available on Shopify aren't really good and the ones that are require monthly payments. If you know how to make nice websites, WP is the better option.

WordPress is free as well, but you have to consider things like hosting, the cost of a theme, a domain name, any additional extensions and an SSL certificate.

This sounds like a lot of struggle, and are these free or hard to acquire/do? (except the hosting)
