you think maybe that was part of the purpose of cryptokitties? I can't think of any other way to make the crypto community go insane like this.Like I mentioned, over 20% ETH is invested on CryptoKitties, people are going nuts there. Virtual Kitties are sold for like over $20k each.
They are using metamask and the only way to load money is via ETH. The whole system is clogged up, Gas fee is increased crazily.
If you are buying 1 kitty for $20 then you will have to pay like $40 transaction just to make the payment succesfully.
Before CryptoKitties, which is launched on 28 November, 2018, ETH was processing 35 transactions per second, now it has came down to 12 only.
CryptoKitties is one thing that shows ETH is reaching its limit.
