Sites like ablogtowatch, hodnikee, robb report, gear patrol, uncrate will jump once HR 3945 passes.

So what you're saying is that sites with original luxury content will jump when that happens? or are you saying something else?

What I am saying, before, IP lawsuits was a costly affair and not suitable in small claims.

If new legislation passes (which it looks likely), it cost $60 to serve someone in their jurisdiction. With that in mind, if you are in Oregon and Hodnikee serves you from New York, you have to show up to New York or forfeit your defense. Or pay what they are asking up risk $15k in fines.
It will heavily slanted toward the plaintiff. Some people are seeing easy way to generate $$$. At $15k per infringement with $40-60 cost to serve, it is a no-brainer. Trump is making it easier for plaintiffs to serve IP claims in small claims court. Who would put that off the table if that form of income is available with little cost.

I can see companies that serve (court order) build up services for this.

If you take a picture of that AP Royal Oak that some Hodnikee writer had backstage pass at Basel, to post on your feed, it is a definite problem.

This happen last year as some bloggers posted exclusives of the new Tudor Black Bay chronograph at pre Basel party. A few luxe account reposted and got served. They ended up paying $3000 to avoid a lawsuit. They have gotten more as those were embargo picts posted on IG personal accounts of those writers. The large feature reposted without asking.
