i'm trying to specify the exe file for bluestacks
i was told i need to locate HD-Networks file
but i dont see anything in my blue stacks folder
i even searched my whole harddrive
any help with this?

Right click on the Blue Stacks icon to see properties, then follow the file path to find the .exe

C:\ProgramData\BlueStacks\Client\BlueStacks.exe is what i got
all the youtube videos and websites say i need the HD-network
but im not sure if those were for older version of bluestacks?!

In the rule settings you can tunnel all the programs through proxycap, that will solve your problem

I was told to find HD-Network.exe here
shall i just do the Bluestacks.exe instead?

It can be that those guides are outdated. You can try it nevertheless.

You can find out, if you managed to tunnel Bluestacks through the proxy by checking the ip address in a web browser within Bluestacks (if there's none installed by default, install one.)

If you can't seem to do it, maybe try older versions of Bluestacks or other Android emulators like Nox, MEmu etc.

Hi Syrk

Did you manage to find out which file you need to select?

I'm experiencing the same problem at the moment.

Advice is much appreciated.

Best,

i just ended up not selecting specific programs. i did my settings to apply to all programs lol

Thank you for informing.

However it doesn’t work for me unfortunately.

When I select ‘all’ I have not internet connection whatsoever, I get a ‘failed to navigate’ error in Bluestacks.

When I select HD-player, I get a ‘connection refused’ error in Proxycap.

If anyone knows how to solve this, would be really helpful. I’ve been trying this for some days already, however can’t figure it out.

Best,

Was hoping for a reply to this thread... Lmao. The 2019 guide by proxycap says to also include programs HD-Agent and BlueStacks.exe, but says the exe is found in ProgramData/BlueStacks/Client, however in bluestacks 4 it's nowhere to be seen.

The HD-Network also seems to be outdated and nowhere to be seen. I can't help but wonder if bluestacks changed this deliberately.
