LinkedIn Adder bot...? Anyone EVER seen one?

I have a client that wants to add in a big way to his LinkedIn page (followers) despite my recommendations to not use a bot...he persists. Has any BHW maniacs ever seen or heard of a LinkedIn bot? Can it even be created?

Never seen one have thought about making one though...until I saw that they ban accounts when you request 20 followers or if 5 people report your account.
It would have to be done with multiple accounts to avoid this little issue

I think a Linkedin Bot would be VERY useful.

Even if they tends to ban you quickly, you need to act under the radar. As everything here.

BTW, a lot of people adds me in linkedin and actually they seems bot-driven.. I'm surprise that I can't find useful software in this way.

People who are out of work can indeed seem to act like a bot! Mindlessly adding person after person without regard to their usefulness, endlessly trolling for 'updates', etc.

Go to toplinked.com which i think is actually opennetworker.com or something now, pay for their service for 6 months and your client will drop a deuce nugget trying to keep up with his add requests on linkedin.

what they do is they email out an excel sheet to all of the fellow members with a username and password they upload it to their "add users from csv file" section on their profile and BAM, thousands a day. It's out of hand, and pretty snazzy for I think $50 for 6 months or something. You usually end up with a quick 15-20K the first month then it slows based on how many new users come to the site, but they claim to have over 75,000 users right now.

Oh and piggybacking what was said above, about 75% of those people are recruiters looking for talent (aka a buck by placing someone in a job)

A lot of LinkedIn users add from email lists they purchase now days. Because they don't really cut you off until after the first 1,500 people you add, and by that point you just ask for recommendations or join groups and people add you
