How much did you put into your first website?

Still remember those days, Tried to get everything for free. However had to pay for domain and hosting, was around $30 in total. Now when I look back, I can say that it is one of the best things I did in my life !

My first website - $49 for premium theme, $10 for domain, $4 hosting. Rest like logo, graphics, kw research, backlinks, content I did by myself. I didn't know anything about web design or seo before. It took me a lot of time but it was worth it. I learn so many new things. Design looked really awesome, seo on page and off page - I was learning so made a many mistakes, but the biggest mistake ever, I had done with the content. It was amazon affiliate website and I rewrote some english articles from the internet - big mistake. What on earth I was thinking? My English isn't perfect and now I know sometimes we need to ask professionals for help time uv spending at my website was good (because web design was really nice and people were curious) but conversion not so good. I earn only few bucks after few months and decided to delete it. I started new projects and move on but still very proud of my first website. So for the second website (the successful one) I spent $200 on content.

Initially, I spent $1 for a domain and $1 for a monthly hosting. My first blog is about blogging and I made an auto-blog out of it. I didn't earn anything from the site so I sold it after 6 months for $75.

i started years ago i learn html and css and javascript on my own then went collage and got certified in css, html, javascript, i done all 3 courses beginners, intermediate, advance

every day i try to keep up with trends .

but ill be honest, i know do wordpress .

i learn seo as time went on then done php

then i made a very sucessfull dating website long time ago before 2013 .

i usally work start to end on each project 13hr shifts.....

i charge £80 per hour includes all the design work , programming and css .

but know i do internet marketing very easy then any designing and programming .

i do keep up recently done bootstrap course and a new dreamweaver course ..

currently looking at new browser not programming course .

For my first projects i just spend few dollars for hosting and domain. Before was easier to get success just putting some links in link directories and submitting you url to google, yahoo, telepolis, lycos ...

That was a long time ago, but, basically, nothing but hosting and a ton of time, as well as promoting on various thematic sites. It eventually failed, but can't expect to strike gold on the first try.
