does anyone has succeed with monthly link rental service? this kind of service is not cheap, unlike most of the service in bhw, it can be as expensive as $300 a month, if a year that's $3.6k a year. Imagine you still stuck and doesn't make it to the top and you still don't have any ROI.

These types of services ensure the domains / sites in the PBNs are maintained and looked after. There are sellers who buy cheap domains, throw together a cheap PBN, sell links and don't even bother renewing the domain 12 months later.

Quality services are never the cheapest !

Some people pay over $100k/year in link rental for just 1 site, so yes it it not cheap, but it is up to you how much you want to spend in it monthly; you do not have to spend anything in it either.

The truth is however that no one is going to sell you permanent homepage link from really good website, PBN or not. It doesn't make any sense as a seller to sell permanent homepage links as those spots are limited. Once I fill them up why should I continue paying for hosting? Ill just let it go, there is no more money to be made from this.

That's exactly what most PBN sellers here do. And it's a blatant scam and a ban reason as well. So yeah, "there's money to be made" and also "ban to be hammered".

But let's break it down:

Bought one time package PBN links: They drop mostly in less than a year, mostly on crappy domains, once links get lost, they do more damage than good.

Rented PBN links: Nobody would rent a link for $360 a month for a site that's not raking that kind of money in a day. You can get decent rented links for a few bucks. No idea why we go to the extremes here.

Your own PBN: Quality domain compared to the ones that decent link renters have is at least good $300. I would price a link on this one to maybe $10 a month. That, plus hosting, plus content. 10 sites like this one and you end up on good $5K for the first year. Renting 10 links like this is $1200 a year.

So it all comes down to what you consider more effective, safer and better for your overall ROI. If I were to buy PBN links nowadays, I would buy only rented ones.

Monthly means there's continual reinvestment.
It's cheaper too than building your own PBN network, unless you happen to have a spare $20k sitting around.

Did I ever tell you that I don't like you? Every time I come into a thread to help enlighten some folks you come and post what I was about to write.

In a nutshell, yeah, if you buy a link outright then the site it is on is more than likely not going to be up for much more than a year as the seller has little incentive to keep the site maintained once the links have been sold. This is especially so with a bought homepage link, it is a total false economy.

Renting links ensures that the sites will be maintained and if they go down you simply stop paying, as Nargil pointed out you can get links on sites for a few bucks so it isn't like you need to be throwing down hundreds per link per month, you can start small if you want to. If you are bringing in enough money you can start playing with the $100+ link per month but it is not a starting point.

Not 20k, but $400 to 500 for the first year per PBN with decent auctioned domain. Thats good $5k for 10 PBNs. While renting would cost you about $1k and is risk free for you - if the PBN get hit you just stop paying and rent from somewhere else.

Only invest in paid links if you're already achieving success with the free methods. Sometimes, spending more money doesn't equal making more money.

For one-time fee you won’t get permanent good PBN homepage links cause it just wouldn’t be profitable business for the seller. With rented links you see if it works and can buy more or end the subscription sooner, noone expects you to rent for a year if it’s not working. It’s usually “cancel anytime”. By renting you’ll be able to get power links.
