Online savings recommendations? + Investing

I've been working for a while now and I would like to start saving my money. The big problem is that local offers in my country have pretty bad interest rates.

Does anyone have any experience with this? If so, could you point me to a recommended bank? I've searched online but I'd rather get some tips directly from anyone who has experience in this field. Not asking to be spoon-fed.

Also, I'm looking to start investing in stocks. Would it be better to first read through texts such as "The intelligent Investor" and learn on my own, or hire a pro to manage my investment profile?

Do you currently invest through them Neon? Do the experts at Vanguard work on a nest egg plan? ie, the more money my savings make, the more they make.

I know about Vanguard cuz of my dear dog @Sherbert Hoover who mentioned them in another thread here. I have no personal experience with them, but yes they're reliable for sure.
And yes I'm obviously joking about the "all in" part, never do it ! never go all in !

Those of you interested in investing like rational adults, feel free to look into Vanguard index funds. Their stability and longevity has been proven for decades... unlike the months of crypto.
