[NEED HELP] My site heavily spammed. What should I do?

Hi,

I have a new website built in last month.
Then, I bought some cheap PBN service and niche relevant blog comments and web 2.0 link service from here. All spun content used by vendors.

My site ranked in 17th position (2nd page) within 3 or 4 weeks. Then suddenly it dropped to 80th position a few days ago. I guess my site has a lot of crappy links from those cheap services.

I want to know how can I check if my site was penalized by Google and what should I do?
If there any way to remove/disavow bad links and recover my site or do I need to make a new website?

Please SEO experts help me. I will send my website link via PM so you can check it and tell me what should I do. I need help, please.

Did you have added your site in Google webmasters tools if yes then you can easily see if your site penalized or not and also what measures you need to withdraw it.

You can see warnings in GWT, but also links pointing to your site. Contact the sellers to ask if they are able to remove those spammy links (I doubt you get any help). I've never been a fan of the disavow tool but it might work. Lesson learned, don't do cheap spammy links, it's not a spam game anymore.

Yes, you're correct. I will never buy any cheap services from here. Especially who provides spun content. I would like to tell all members to stay away from cheap spun content PBN links. Those are crappy

It's probably an algorithm penalty that doesn't show up in GWT. Your option is to either try to recover site by removing bad links and slowly add new quality backlinks, or move on, register a new domain, and start all over again.

It's probably an algorithm penalty that doesn't show up in GWT. Your option is to either try to recover site by removing bad links and slowly add new quality backlinks, or move on, register a new domain, and start all over again.

I'm also thinking about it too. Maybe I will have to make a new website and start all over again

Could be a penalty or dance. I also ranked #6 for 1 keyword but then it dropped now to the 15th place not long ago (1-2 days). I did see some other rank improvement however so just wait it out a bit then decide what to do next.

You can check for manual penalties in your Google Search Console account. Algorithmic penalties won't appear under the "maunal actions" tab and manual actions don't always appear immediately. The last guy I helped with this problem didn't see the manual action for several days after his rankings dropped.

Personally, if I did this, I would just forget the site. Fixing a screwed site takes more effort and resources than building a new one. Plus the results that you can fix it are not exactly guaranteed. Lesson learned, we all need to learn the hard way.

Thanks for the detailed reply. If I use Google Webmasters disavow tool. Will it remove all links or just spammy links?
