[Help] Informative article is ranking better than Best article

In my website Informative article is ranking better than Best article for main keyword.
For example i have an general informative article and "Best XXXX" article on website. I have interlinked from informative article with "Best XXXX" as anchor text to my "Best XXXX" article. Informative article ranking better than my main "Best XXXX" article. How to solve this problem?
Some times Ranking toggling between two articles.

Why article which is not at all optimized in anywhere ranking better than Well optimized page as both of them are brand new and did not have backlinks?

What do you mean by ranking?

If one is like 50 and the other 80 it's irrelevant..

Otherwise it is probably ably due to overoptimization of "best"..

Try bringing the keyword ratio down or build non keyword links

I have used 3 word keyword "best xx xx" only 7 times in 1300 word article. 2nd article which is not optimized for keyword is 700 words count.

3 word keyword is way too much to be used 7 times imo.. I would use it so many times in a 5000 word article

Just use it on title and 2-3 times in content and you are good to go. Use LSI or partial match insted.
