Hello,

I have a blog that generates about 100$/month via AdSense thanks to 1 blog post although I have written more than 200 blog posts since 2010. Back then I didn't know any SEO stuff, but even now, I have no idea how to develop it because it's not a niche website, it's a blog about high-tech in general.

In this blog, I mostly explain to my visitors how to use their computer, iPhone, Android phone... it's mostly tutorials and big news (events, Apple events, Google events...)

I would love to know how to find subjects of articles that have low competition and for which I can rank for easily in order to make more money with AdSense.

My goal here is to write articles that will help my visitors and help grow my Adsense revenue.

If it was your website what would you do? How could you achieve it?

Thanks :)

Ps:

Those are the metrics of my best article:

  • Bounce rate between 0 - 4 %
  • Average time per user : more than 2 minutes
  • 90% of my traffic is going to this article.

What do you think of them?

Basic kw research + manual checking to see which topics have less competition. It's an art, there is no automation for this.

Hello Elbarto,

Thanks for your answer :)

1. Do you recommend any tools for KW research? (No tool gives the competition?)
2. How can I be sure of the low competition?
3. What do you think about the metrics of my post?

1. Keywordtool.io and gooogle keyword plannner.
2. the search volume should be around 500 to 2000 a month. You can check the first page of search result for sure. if there are not alot of sites make post about the exact keyword then it's low compettition.
3. It's shitty dude. Pump the number up. Never be satisfy with what you have.

do keywords researching, find low comptition keywords, then try to add long tails keywords base the root keywords

Hey guys,
Ok thank you for all your answers :)
