A Question About Keywords Targeting

Hi Guys

If I want to target only very easy keywords first to build AUTHORITY for my site. How can I do that when all keywords are identical? How to target specific ones in my content ? I'm confused.

Here is an example keywords;

size for road bike HARD
road bike sizing guide MEDIUM
sizing for road bike MEDIUM
how to size a road bike frame VERY EASY
road bike sizes for height VERY EASY
size a road bike VERY EASY
right size road bike VERY EASY

I hope I will find my answers from the knowledgeable guys and please forgive me for this noobish question.

imo google is not looking at keywords the way you do, but my 2 cents are:

in your example you can use title "how to size a road bike frame", which is a natural topic, "how to"; then write about it using (of course) some of the example keywords from OP, in a natural, in depth, informative way; then check your rankings and see what happened; take it from there;

in other words do not put the carriage before the horses.

Hi,

The first you need check how many search with your keyword :
- use keyword planner
- install keyword everywhere extension to check exactly visitor to your keyword.
- after use software to check competiton with your keyword.

Easy. Just create an article with its keywords for its heading title. And drop the keywords in the article to a good density ratio. You'd good to go!

Make choose with high search volume also - low competition
Check with KWfinder tool or some other tool and with competitor details

That doesn't look like an easy keyword to me. Look at how good those results actually are.
They are decent sites that have lots of content, and are very established.

Gone are the days when you target a keyword, and you rank for just that specifically.

Google is spending millions a year improving their AI, and measuring the CTR on results.

Instead of trying to "target" these keywords, write a variety of articles on all the topics,
then write some articles that cover a few of them in the same post, so you actually have a variety of meaningful content on the subject.

Once your site is ranking, and after a few months, you can use a tool like ahrefs or semrush, to see what you are ranking for.

You can then start to think about which articles you want to improve to give you a better ranking for whatever keyword,
and also think about which articles you want to build backlinks to. Usually the easiest keywords first, then up to more difficult
keywords, once you see those changing.

Times of "keyword sniping" are simply long gone. Gather all the keywords about the niche that you can. Put them into groups and target everything you can. Just because the keyword is longer compared to its basic root version, it doesn't mean that you can target only that specifically and rank. Google algorithm now thinks in a bigger picture when it evaluates what the content is about.

should be done buy the opesite of thinking.

dont use keywords directly to the niche think out side the niche but is part of the niche

you need to use apps really like kwfinder and longtailpro.

need to also think about the surroundings of the keyword then see if it worth cash cpc then monthly search then comp then backlinks then maybe pbn

never give up you can use parasite method to also index heigh and yes a link to your website.

so you use there website to advertise your link ...

a lot of ppl in the seo world use others website to add a blog or whatever to get noticed thru a person website these days ...

You wouldn't create a site based on these keywords, your site would be about bikes, and these keywords would be separate articles each, as well as combined mega long articles,
you need to make sure you use what are called LSI keywords, basically similar words to do with that niche, which you will probably automatically use anyway.

The articles would all be slightly different, like "how to size a winter road bike" which would be one keyword & article, and then an article like "Everything you need to know about bike sizing" which would have a paragraph on things to think about for a winter bike.

Think of the “site:” function as a Google search that searches only a particular website. If you want to see every time TIME.com mentioned Google, use the search “Google site:TIME.com”

choose the one with biggest SV and target it in article. it will rank for other lsi. unless you think you wont rank for that at all, then you can target the lowest one

Good. How do you telling their competition level? Which tool have you used to check that?

You can choose low and middle level keyword use search on google keyword tools.
