Automation for legit Instagram account?

I own a YouTube music channel - approaching 100K on YouTube but my Instagram is dead.

As such, I would like to grow the Instagram. What is the best way to do that? I remember using Follow Liker a couple of years ago.

I've got 4000 followers right now, and what I do is upload clips of my YouTube videos. Kind of like this: https://www.instagram.com/chillnation/

I'd like to get 10,000 followers. I'm currently boosting well performing posts, although the return is miniscule. $10 will get me like 500 views.

What is the best course of action?

Be active on your account, post a lot.
Comment as well on your followers.
And start following/unfollowing, most useful would be through a bot

Follow/unfollow method is one of the best things you can do to grow your account fast. Also be sure to post high quality content and try to interact with your followers. There is a lot of bots on the Internet you can choose from.

woah this killed me lol . O.p don't f/u since you are already big on yt , direct traffic from yt, do collabs and other shit. You can grow it by being white-hat and not risking it by doing f/u.

You can grow it white-hat but it takes much more time and effort. Follow/unfollow method is not risky if you do it right and don't go too aggressive.

You never f/u on a brand account that u want to last forever even if it's taking forever to grow. Now there are a lot of exception to this like manually following 100 a day , get 50% or more FB ratio , as this is humanly possible and people do it. On the other hand following 400 a day , 7 times a week everyday will have its side effects sooner or later.

Now op is a brand with 100k+ yt subscribers, he can achieve better growth than he can ever hope to achieve via f/u , look at real world collabs if you are an influencer ive seen people do 5 figures gain a day just by producing quality content and cross tagging each other, you can start reading some of my threads for more insights about f/u

Don't bother with f/u it's not that effective at growing engaged accounts and you have a big engaged following already so why bother?

Are you doing remix music vids like that chillnation? If so find some indie artists on IG with a good following and collab with them. Post a lot on your IG and make sure you are always doing a call to action in your YouTube, and on the flip side directing people to the YouTube in your IG stories. You could also do a contest on YouTube that involves follows on your IG.

Be engaged with your followers on IG and let your YouTube subs know it. "If you want me to see your comment and respond hit me up on IG I'm really active there" you have fans on YouTube that want to be noticed by Senpai.

In particular VERY few people in Japan are even aware of this method and virtually nobody knows about this in the small countryside area where I live.

Some companies have asked us to increase their followers (f/u) for their company accounts, but we are hesistant for the reason you just said. Would be terrible if we ruined their accounts and basically got viewed as scam artists in this small community.

Aside from really crappy engagement rates or outirght bans, what other risks would you say there are? We would only follow 100-150 only on weekdays and promise at least 300 new followers a month.

Follow manually and 100-150 on weekdays should be fine. Make sure to do it humanly like do 20 follows take a coffee break and then start again in an hour or so

what if you scrape a list and manully go through the list and pickout the obvious fakes/shops then have it follow? This saves a lot of time since u dont have to manually click and view if they are private or not. It's basally semi botting.

OP have you thought about doing a giveaway to build up a email list? You could email them saying to follow your instagram and do monthly giveaways/offers you are paid for on top of that.
