Hi Guys,
A web page on my site was slowly getting worse in Google rankings. I thought this was due to weak content, so I removed about a third of the wording off the page and rewrote it (Better) . I then waited for Google to cache the web page and the rankings dipped again
So I removed the new wording, put the old wording back on changed the title and waited for google to cache the web page. The site jumped 4 places
so I thought I had fixed the problem, then a few days later it dropped again!
My question is
When Google caches a page does that mean that it has also ranked it? Or does the ranking take effect a few days later after it has been cached? As if this is so did I remove my new wording to soon?
Hope this all makes sense, Cheers.
