Hi,

I'm currently want to build a property listing website. Does anybody know a good CMS for property niche?

Doesn't have to be free, just list your thought freely.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

I usually like to use WordPress. I think it's user-friendly and easy to use.

I bought this one a long time ago but never really used it, it has a lot of features:

Code:

Looks good, but it's really expensive. almost 1000 pound for starting and 150 every month? Too expensive for me.

Other than Wordpress, you can try Joomla as well. Joomla is more complicated though, but you will have plugins like Wordpress, in which you may install and setup the listings accordingly.
There are many extended functionalities on Joomla, but if you are looking for something simple, you can try Wordpress. Else for more complex CMS, Joomla is the way to go.

Wordpress every time. There are good themes and plugins for what you need, use google. Joomla updates and hacking has made me sick.

I feel much comfortable with Wordpress only.Just try it buddy

I don't think anything beats the simplicity of Wordpress. It also has a ton of affordable themes, plugins and there is a ton of community support. You can basically find an answer to any Wordpress problem with a quick Google search. Unless you have some web dev exerpience/skills, I'd recommend sticking to Wordpress. It'll be faster to get the site up and going so you'll save some time from having to tinker with getting the site to function and look right. I used to use Joomla and the others a long time ago, but switched to Wordpress and have never looked back.

Well, I'm doing this because I received a project. They want to built a property website, as they are selling a property. I figured if there are any ready template that I can use. While wordpress is good for any kind of website, it's too it as too simple and will be hard to scale if it's get any bigger. But, will get it to the customer and see what they say.
