So this is the scenario. Imagine you have an authority website with around 2000 indexed pages that ranks on the first page of google for almost every keyword you go for. Everything is natural, everything is white hat, no buying links etc. Its got to where it is by hard work and good content.
The problem however is that there is one or 2 websites that are pipping you to the number 1 spot on google. You are sat at position 2 or 3 for everything you do and no matter what you try you can not get above these 2 or 3 websites.
I have copied their backlink profile the best I can. They are also using very out of date methods and over using keywords but getting no punishment from google for it.
What would you do? Start buying links? Risk black hat? Worse?
Please help me, getting above these competitors is the difference of around 5k - 10k per month extra for me.
