Hashtags: Captions or Comments

I've seen soo many mixed opinions on this, can anyone tell me if comments are a legit way to go if you dont delay in posting them?

Anyway, I use hashtags on both captions and comments. But for me, captions help me a lot compared to commenting on time, just use the right words.

Heard if you post them in the comments late you wont hit explore.

Ahh, I see. I've observed that trend, too. That's why most people choose to be the first to comment on anything.

About the hashtags, both. They should be related to your post and the most popular ones, too. Some use more than 10 hashtags per post.
