Guys,

I started a website not even 4 days ago. Basically its a free URL shortening service.
Right now its totally free, not monetized (working on the blog right now and awaiting graphics), no ads nothing etc.

Right now I have a problem, a good problem I might add.

I have no facebook, no twitter, no announcements, nothing..and I went from ZERO visitors per day on 30th October (which is when I installed / configured / customized the URL shortening software) to 79 visitors PER DAY (Nov 3rd).

I would really like to hear opinions and ideas as to how people even heard of my site since I haven't even launched yet (although yes the free service works) and no these are not bots or crawlers (I checked).

Mod Edit: URL Removed, unnecessary to the question. Use your homepage profile or signature space to promote a personal website.

did you check other data, like user location, browser used,...?

Yeah I did. Most traffic came from the USA/Canada/Indonesia/UK and a few other places.
Browsers were mostly Chrome and Edge with a few Firefox as well.

real users? any other data? from where do they come from and do they use your service?

Yeah they are definitely real users. They literally find my site somehow, enter in the long URL into my service, copy the short URL made by my service and then at that point I presume they are sharing it on social media or emailing it etc (otherwise what would be the point lol).

Other than the country and city I cant see where exactly they are coming from.
I have looked using G Analytics as well as AWSTAT.

maybe someone found it, shared it, and now it could be going viral?

@safeSEOboost Yeah good suggestion. I didnt think of that because I have like less than 20 words of text on the site.....and honestly nothing stands out in my opinion anyway to make it go viral.

I can help you to evaluate traffic and see if those are bots or quality traffic, free.
