Are CPA networks liers?

I was testing SOI CPA offers today. I was using proxies to switch between the countries and I was filling the forms myself( I know it is not legal but I just wanted to test how it works and to see when they convert).

I have signed up to 20 offers and only 1 of them converted giving me $3.5. WTF?? SERIOUSLY??

Are CPA networks doing this on purpose or I do not understand something?
If it is stated that offer converts on single opt in why the fuck I am not getting conversions?

You should use a VPN and also you need to first check the offer by sending small amount of traffic to it or you can always ask your AM.

Switching IP's ain't gonna cut it, there are a ton of other footprints to detect a lead as fraudulent.
For example: operating system, keyboard settings, browser, language and timezone settings, java version, flash version, etc.

Besides, imagine yourself being an account manager at any CPA company and you see 20 conversions in an hour (or however long it took you to do it) with nothing before or after this batch, wouldn't you find this just a little bit suspicious and take a closer look?

Yeah, it seems to be pretty common. I tried it too some time ago, but instead of proxies I did it through my vps. Nothing happened, even though I fully completed the offer.

The reason it didn't convert is because most advertisers and networks detect and block proxies just to avoid dumb actions like this. If they don't convert your proxy has already been used but seriously, don't be a dumbass!

CPA isn't a quick buck anymore and requires WORK and how to get traffic and leads, read the FFing forum!

Shaving in the industry is rampant, yes, but your testing is poor... Networks have or should have the ability to detect DC IPs, cookies, etc. At least test submits/conversions via unique VMs, or with a tool like MLA.

Get in touch with your AM, it's never stressed enough how important developing a good sort of personal relationship. Find a way to get a url to test.

Shaving is also a consideration to be made here, but unless you have developed some sort of decent communication channel with your AM, you're basically still lingering in doubt. And avoid networks where AM's are always "busy" / MIA as the plague.

IP is just one thing.

It is possible to identify you using a set of different identifiers that combined creates fairly unique visitor.
