My review of Services Rendered
---
Order: 8 individual intro paragraphs for 8 different product categories for an eCommerce store
Length: Roughly about 150 words each (150 x 8)
Provided: The categories we're selling products for, and overall types of products
Pros: Responsive and timely delivery
The company was timely, responsive, and a pleasure to deal with. It was simple to submit a payment, and they delivered what I asked for, in a very reasonable amount of time.
Cons: Extremely poor writing quality
While I was not expecting a high level of writing given the incredibly low price, about 90% of the writing they provided was awful. It was poorly structured, had spelling and grammar errors, and there were some really strange sentences that scream to the reader 'someone from a non-english speaking country wrote this'.
---
Below are just a few of the many snippets of writing quality I would like to highlight.
Example 1
Like they don't wear jewelry or go aww over sugar sweet showpieces, they even reject the ideas of floral related gifts and pretend that soft toys are not there kind.
My analysis of Example 1
Incredibly poor sentence structure. It's 'awe' not 'aww' and 'their' not 'there'. I won't even begin to break down how bad the sentence structure is.
Example 2
The world’s changing and so the swag of our moms. The heat is increasing and so is the coolness of our moms. And sadly we are so late to realise this universal truth.
My analysis of Example 2
First sentence doesn't make any sense. I'm not even sure what to say about the second sentence. In the third sentence, why would we talk about being sad, when we're trying to sell products to the end user? In the US, it's 'realize' not 'realise', although this is entirely my fault as I only made it clear I wanted native English, and did not specify US or UK. Anyone ordering should be extremely specific when describing their needs.
Example 3
There are several options that you can choose from, and we are sure that certainly, some products will catch your eyes.
My analysis of Example 3
'...we are sure that certainly...' is (once again) bad sentence structure. And it's 'eye' (singular) not 'eyes' (plural). It should read '...we are certain, some products will catch your eye.'
Example 4
Selecting items for women are exactly like buying pumpkins. Being more precise, you can say various varieties of pumpkins. Yes, you read that right? You either need to pick one of Cinderella's chariot type or Halloween's head; there is no in between.
My analysis of Example 4
{ speachless }

Final thoughts
I would like to point out the difficulty in complaining about a product with such an incredibly low price point. It's true, you get what you pay for. Additionally, I will not be asking for a refund. They did the work I asked for and delivered in a timely manner. However, it was written at such a poor level, not a single piece is usable. Thus, I will be writing everything myself from scratch, or trying another writing service here and paying real rates to hire someone who grew up (and currently lives) in the US. Thank you for your time.
