Hello all,

Do any of you have any crafty methods on acquiring free products from big or small companies? Ethically of course ;). I just wanted to treat my clients for a business, as a way to show gratitude. I'm sure it's possible though some sponsorship sort of deal. Let me know what y'all think.

Thanks.

Go to the freebies section and enter whichever giveaways pique your interest. Sometimes, there are some pretty good giveaways going on.

However, read this before entering any giveaways: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/avoiding-scams-staying-safe-on-black-hat-world.884947/
Spotting Fake Giveaways

A fake giveaway thread is one where a member claims to be doing a giveaway, but has other intentions. You'll find four types of fake giveaways on this forum:
  1. They go through with the giveaway, but later sell your email to spammers.
  2. They don't go through with the giveaway and later sell your email to spammers.
  3. They only partially deliver the freebie and try to charge you for the rest of it.
  4. They open up a keyword giveaway for niche ideas.
Unfortunately, there's no real way of avoiding the first three, but the last one can be avoided by simply not entering keyword giveaways.

There’s also one more. Provide articles in exchange for guest posts. -> takes articles and leaves.
If you see any freebies like that, report them. People aren't supposed to be doing exchanges of any type in the freebies section (or anywhere else on the forum, for that matter).

In fact, I'm going to comb through a few pages of freebies threads right now just to make sure people aren't doing this.

I’ve seen a couple of threads were titles were like “free guest post on my authority blog”. I didn’t report as I thought they were allowed and usually ended up being multiple pages.

The multiple pages can be misleading. What ends up happening is that a bunch of desperate people will post in the thread rather than report it because the deal or freebie benefits them. It's only until another mod or I come across the thread that they finally get shut down.

It seems to me that they are all deceptive, since nowadays nobody gives anything away

I translated your post to English. Please use English on the forum from now on. :)

Also, that's not entirely true. I used to (and still do) giveaways in the form of downloads I made here. None of them were promotional nor did I ever have any real paid products associated with them.
