Posting photos always helped me out. It's not hard to find people that will follow back. Just follow people with similar interests and you will see them follow back.

Yea! It's hard, I followed 700 people manually 2 days ago (Active just tweeted people) only 80 followed back lol.

filters: •above 5 or 10k followers • fb ratios 90-100% or 90-110%

the 1st acc shows a chrome extension, which you can use to follow automated and with some filters

I find that for a personal twitter page (especially if it's showing who you really are in life), the safe option is to just engage naturally with accounts that you share similar interests with. Thing is, sometimes i engage with other more 'valuable' accounts and they might like or retweet my tweet, but they don't follow back, even if i follow them.

That's better than my rate as well. Although I tend not to follow more than 50 new people a day so it's a bit slow going.
