I'm not sure if I like farmer Pewep or wizard Pewep more yet.
I think @pewep needs to post a thread about combining growth spells and farming for maximum profit.![]()

Hey guys, trust me they aren't dead hahah. In fact I'll be doing another picture update within a week, but they are really coming out and looking nice in the big field.
At home, they have started creeping and are getting hard to control. Lol! It's actually pretty interesting seeing how much they have changed since I posted this thread. Anyway, we still have a while to go (early January maybe..??) before we see the total results - but trust me anything major and i'll post about it.
No major deaths, in fact now that it's the rainy season, they are looking better than ever.
Today I was walking around town with mum hunting down a specific strain called Lahat F1 - that grows approximately 9-11 kgs in 60-75 days - so even faster allowing me to do 4 full seasons per year with time in between for fertelizing and preparing the land, etc... Finally found it after a few hours and calling people up but they only offer 250-500 grams - way more than I currently need (just enough for next season). It's 13,500 kshs. The woman told me that most people growing it exported it (I never see this variety in th shops anywhere). I'm also trying to find out more about exporting because that would dramatically raise the profits.

Ah, sorry to hear about the cold there haha. I was actually going to try a few seeds in Karatu (in Gatundu) because we have 3 acres there but I think it might be even colder than Nakuru at times so I'm not sure that will be a good idea heh. Best of luck, sis!Glad to know that you're progressing well in your farming venture. I also tried watermelon farming in Nakuru but the few plants I had died because of cold. I'm now doing vegetables and they are doing good. I'll be trying watermelon farming from next year again. It is quite lucrative.
Wish you all the best.
Ask first or try a few to see if they will do well. With 3 acres you will make millions if you get a bounty harvest. There are good FB groups where you can get info on anything related to farming in Kenya.Ah, sorry to hear about the cold there haha.
