Are Auto Blogs over rated ?

I have now been working with auto blogs for a few years now, and a week a go a person who I chat with on a few forums was telling people "your wasting your time with auto blogs when I making the money" and he put his web sites and what words he ranks with and so on his sites were all ranked #1 on every list I seen was these his sites maybe not there's no way to know but when he said look all my sites only have 30 pages or less, with short articles on them he was right most had 25 pages or less and all ranked #1, so been trying to make a few and the results are really good withen 3 days they are jumping up the list on Yahoo!, Google, and MSN so don't listen to me check for yourself.

well ... depend what you need from autoblogs , usually peoples do them for easy work / easy traffic ... nothing more ..... if you need no.1 spot then you need quality & hard work to be here .... depend by the target keyword can take loads of resources to hit it ...

Anybody could rank no1 , it depends on the term.

I think we must have two kind of blog type ... original and serious blog for long term ( I don't know when people can make money from this type)... and autoblog (dupliicate, less traffic, banned and more negative). Both of them is making money online ..

Search the terms "All about the backlinks" in forum.
#1 in google or yahoo or ping may get some traffic.
But not all keywords are so profits value.
Auto blog is a good way to domainate the niche keywords, even using "linkwheel" can improve the rank.IMO.

I don't believe that because I haven't seen any Word Press blogs in good niches in #1 spots on google, MSN, or Yahoo! and I have seen web sites with only 30 pages or less in #1 spots and even seen blogspot blogs in top 5 on good niches.
