Can't really estimate exact cost because different hosting offers different pricing as well.

Maybe domain + hosting lesser than 200$ because nowadays you need bigger budget.

Then, start to do link building which requires patience and discipline (if you do manually) or use tools to boost back links for you (you still need more budget).

If you want to generate more income, do affiliate in various kind of platform.

I think this might be going down the path of creating your own products, but I'm not too sure since I'm still working my way around. It might be a route to explore.

Yeah, when I was looking around for hosting, it seemed like the cheapest was okay. Luckily I read on BHW free hosting was crap unless you were doing something like CPA.

Creating back link surely takes time that's why you need to weigh more on quality back link than the quantity you produce on each day.

Just be patience, time will decide when you'll get tons of traffic into your site.

I didn't have to as my keyword was unique and more over you can't add backlinks to new sites. They will get banned ASAP. Warm them up first if you are considering to do that

If I remember correctly, I spent around 20$ on domain and hosting for my first website and spent a lot of time of doing SEO and link building by myself. It was mainly a learning phase for me.

Website has made like $13k in 2 years and I have spent 0 on marketing, I just posted it on some forums to gain some organic traction right when I started.
I am selling it soon, as my main product is something I won't be able to ship anymore as I am moving countries. Hope future websites (with proper SEO and marketing) make a lot more.

@Kevzz, I did not put too much effort on content. I only spent $40 for 2x articles for 2 product niches. Then most resources that I spent is time, as I am doing my own Guest Posting and outreaching and building my own sites/blog (not pbns). I have a trick to get traffic right away though, and that doesn't include bots or blackhat way, but really organic.

Always with plan, i had mapped out what i wanted to and always continue to do in daily bases - persistence is key to success. Worked every day even when had 0 visits, put content every day etc.. Success will come if you try hard and have good plan.

$30 to a writer for good content (5000 words) and wrote 25k words on my own.

So a site with 30k words and exchanged backlinks made me $400 in 6 months and I started another with $500+ budget
