This will really mess with my operation.

I used to be able to re-use phone numbers when they got suspended but now they seem to have stopped that.

They began with that message but I was able to just text 'STOP' and it removed the number. This worked for a couple weeks but now on last night's ban wave it won't work and the phone number continues to say it is registered with an account.

How do you guys deal?

Having to buy new numbers all the time will make things really a nuisance and barely worth working with twitter any more.

Nice trick, i wasn't aware of that. :)

I guess you'll need to follow a different approach : whenever you phone verified an account, remove the phone number, so if the account gets suspended, the number can be re-used. If an account asks for re-verification, you can re-use the same number or a different one, doesn't matter. If you don't have a phone number added, you cannot get locked out, you can always re-verify it with the same number or a new one. I know it's a hassle, but if you don't want to buy more and more numbers, i don't really see any other way.

Nice idea thanks :)

I think if you used the number on 2 or 3 twitter accounts you can't use it again. Even if you delete the number from the previous accounts it was registered on. I used to 1 number on 5 to 8 accounts a few months back but now twitter is getting harder.

have same problem, nowadays twitter getting hard for marketing, but dont give up, just keep goin'

I am having the same problem too. The funny thing is that Twitter is going against their own "rules", since they CLEARLY say: "You can add your phone number to up to 10 accounts."

In my case, I am not talking about suspended accounts, but recently created and old accounts. Just an example (in the case that someone knows how to solve this problem):

"I have 4-5 verified account with phone number 'A'. Then, since it is cheaper for me to buy a new SIM card that add money to SIM 'A', I delete it from all my accounts. Then I buy phone number B and I try to verify these accounts. What happen is that I can't verify more than 3, even if I wait for several days."

This is really making me angry, because I understand that Twitter blocks/suspend spam accounts because it is against their rules, but verifying accounts with the same phone number when, as I said, they allow it according to their FAQs? Anybody knows how to solve it? Or do you know if it is possible to ask directly to Twitter (not their automatic forms)?

Have a great day! :)

What exactly would you ask from Twitter and what answer would you expect?
You can't really have a legitimate reason why you need to mass verify accounts from the same phone number. Even 10 is a bit of a stretch tbh.
They most certainly won't help you to play their own system.
I know it's in their rules or whatever they call it, i used to quote it myself, but those articles can be outdated or just be there to make you wonder, why these things don't work when they should.

Better to keep these things to yourself and not draw unwanted attention to your existing accounts.

Sometimes there is no solution.

I would ask only if this article is outdated, as you very well have noticed that it could be issue. Is it wrong to ask for information? I don't know why you are assuming that I would ask them to change something or if I would expect a solution. I just want information because this issue can very easily due to a technical problem. If I have the information, I can search for solutions.

Of course I can have a legitimate reason why I would want to add one SIM card to five accounts, for example, and I can think several reasons. MAYBE my case is not legitimate but it doesn't mean that they shouldn't "obey" their rules. They are a big company and there are thousands of other legitimate businesses which depends on these rules. If they change their TOS, they have to say it somewhere or they can't be taken seriously.

About drawing unwanted attention to my existing accounts, it is quite obvious that I would use a totally unrelated account to ask anything...

PS. I hope you understand me. Today my English is not as good as I'd like :)

Your English is pretty good, if you ask me, although i'm not a native speaker either. :)

It's not wrong to ask for information, but if there's just a slight chance to implicate yourself in the process, would you risk it? They're a multi-billion dollar company. Do you think that they can't find all your accounts, if they really wanted? Maybe if you go out of your way and create an account on a system what you've never used before and use a fresh residential IP.

But all of this is just theoretical, because i hardly doubt, that they would reply.

Anyhow, it's just asking for trouble tbh.
I don't think that it's a technical issue, it's more like a new security measure to annoy people even more.

Thanks man :)! I really thought that you were from UK or USA because your English seem to be perfect (although I can't judge properly).

Well, I don't think that they could track me if I get my phone with its network (not wifi) and I create an account to ask them anything. But, 1) you are completely right: they would NEVER reply, so it is useless to take any risk, even if it is minimal, and 2) I also think that it is not a technical issue since they are changing lots of things to prevent spam, like the "new" 3 days following lock (the thing that has annoyed the most... although I totally understand that they implement this measure).

in Germany we have a nice solution.
if you Register and cancel after 2,5month 7 sim cards you will get ~7days after registering ~90€ Amazon cash
You can do this 4 times/year and you have too prepaid cash on every sim

Registering, submitting the card #, sending one sms + canceling 7cards takes ~40min
