How or where to go to send a PM?

I don't understand. I'm new here and want to communicate privately with a couple posters. So there's a 50 post requirement for me to initiate a pm or is it both to receive and send pms? Is there also a time requirement? Cause there's a lot to say/contribute about a lot of stuff here. 50 posts isn't a big deal.

It seems like a useful forum but I'm unsure of the rules and when I can make full use of it. I'm not an advertiser but someone who uses the services advertised....seems like I'd add value for that reason alone.

I already got a post killed because I solicited for mentoring and was told that that was against the rules...not my site but I did read the TO and that wasnt listed as a prohibited action. Not my site as I said but its a bit unnerving not to have a place to see the rules so I can avoid breaking them.

Just curious I see I have an Inbox at the top while I'm logged in here but can't find or locate an option to send a PM.

As of now-October 17, 2017- you must have 15 posts from what I’ve read on other threads.

this has gotten more than a little frustration, I cant even respond on my own thread because I dont have enough posts?? How am I suppose to get enough posts if I cant even respond? I cant PM either.. OR I get Yoda LOL telling me my message is "spam like"..

the only thread u cant reply on is hire a freelancer or want to buy
this is to STOP yellow members trying to sell you un approved service
as yellow members cant sell on bhw but they will always try.
yellow members can hire some1 there, but its done to prevent
yellow members being able to reply to posts there for selling reasons

and the 15 rule pm thing has been a rule for many years

the user replied u , take his skype and pm him, is that hard.

yellow members can not reply to a thread there only make 1, this is to stop yellow members
trying to sell u stuff on that thread. the seller left u his skype name
so whats the issue

Your Yelp thread is in the Hire A Freelancer section. In that section, yellow members can post a thread, but they can't respond to it. Only premium Members and above can respond to threads in that section.

The Jr. VIP who responded to your thread expects you to respond to him on Skype, but if you'd rather have him PM you first, I can respond to his post in your thread and let him know.
