Edit: My drop was from #5 to #20...
I cannot change the title.
I cannot change the title.
In my experience, when a keyword starts dropping like a stone in rank, it's because I was too aggressive with the anchors.
Classic case of 10%+ exact match ratio I presume. Unnecessary and dangerous.
I have to agree with that. Thought it will be ok, because I have good results with exact match anchors in another country.
Now what? Change the anchors to fix the issue (and maybe raise a flag) or just add more BLs with naked, branded anchors etc?
"Another country" is a world of difference. Every country specific Google is different and you can't compare .com Google with, I don't know, Hungarian one. Day and night difference.
What to do? I personally wouldn't even bother with that site anymore. Trying to dilute anchors is more exhausting on both time and resources than starting a new site. But that's my personal preference. I don't tend to end up with anchor overptimisation sandbox. And if you were listening to what I am posting here day in day out, you wouldn't either.
If your link buildijg is solid then it is surely a dance and u will see recovery in coming weeks ..so i suggest you to not remove/edit anything..just analyse your anchors and continue quality backlinks..stay away from shaddy pbn service..
Sometimes google likes to play around and drop your rankings so be patient and do NOT remove backlinks. You should always keep getting more steady links to keep your ranking better than your competitors. Best of Luck.
