Hello,

I am going to start a webhosting service.

I have a VPS server and I have to provide a cpanel type control panel to my webhosting customers.

Can anyone suggest me some free and easy alternative to cpanel ?

Also please suggest me some other useful webhosting tools.

Thanks!

If you are selling hosting to people, why are you even looking at a free control panel?
If you want cheap, go for Directadmin - for a VPS their license fee was $5 a month and you get an industry strength panel. (I preferred it over cPanel a few years ago).

If you are thinking you will make a fortune hosting and cutting back on the basics you are in for a surprise.

I have never sold hosting..

but check out PLESK.... its only like $10 a month..

its way superior to cpanel....I can never go back to Cpanel.

Good Luck..

I know developers of this and it is nice and well supported. Although Russian, it is in english as well.

I think Virtualmin is the best alternative to Cpanel it has a nice GUI, and has a somewhat good community behind it, nothing compared to Cpanel's but hey, its FREE

For me, the easiest to install and use, the most powerful and also not expensive one is webuzo (2.5$ / VPS).
it's the same company that softaculous
they have a free version, and could be enough for your needs

I would suggest, instead of going with the free hosting panels go with the trusted, paid and most important is secure hosting panel. When you are going to host the client's website, those should be secure and trustworthy else anyone can hack them easily.

cPanel is the best and secure solution. Go with it.

Why not just get cpanel from your upline provider? Cost would be 14 to 20 bucks depending on the provider you are with. Then just break that cost out to your customers. You can have unlimited accounts with Cpanel on a VPS.

It will be easier to land customers with a cpanel offer than some other lesser known control panel.

if you are providing it to your customer then cPanel is the best, but if you still need free panel then VestaCP is 2nd best

So, uh... When are you going to return the $65 you stole from @theindiaphile back in 2011?

By the way, I found your other accounts as well, including the one I had to ban for being connected to yet another previously banned account. Expect all of those accounts to be banned shortly.
