I know I should've checked it better before I registered but I was already exhausted looking for a replacement for instaplus and I fell on the trap.

You have to enter your credit card for a free trial to ensure no one registers twice to use infinite trials, which sounded ok to me at the moment. I wasn't satisfied with the service (he said he'd implement the feature I needed, but he did late and with poor performance) so after the 3 days trial I wasn't able to use it. He automatically charged me for a full month after the trial and told me he'd give me a refund.

Well, it's been 3 weeks since that conversation and now he isn't replying my messages. He didn't give me a refund, of course. There is no option to remove my credit card details so now I'm currently speaking to my bank to prevent him to renew it again and again every month.

So DON'T use it, you've been warned.

I've seen some noob promoting that site on BHW before and got banned. How did you come to know about the site in the first place as that site is not ranking anywhere in Google?

Your best option is to report to your Bank that your card has been stolen. They will issue a new card and future billings wont happen on the card on the file they have. If you choose the other option of raising a chargeback - it might take time - and recurring billing may keep on adding.

File a chargeback claim with your CC provider. and set a stop payment on it too. what a dick. I hope his stripe gets banned

Thanks guys. I don't remember how I got there in the first place, maybe somebody mentioned it on this forum.

I'll try to get my money back

If he's using stripe as payment processor, maybe you can contact them and ask for help.

This is why Paypal is goid and bad at the same time... goid for buyers, bad for sellers :)

I disagree, always go to your bank.
Your bank is on your side, PP and Stripe are not.
In my 5 years running an ecommerce I've had a few cases where dishonest people told their bank they never ordered or received an item even though I had all the proof of the contrary.

Yeah, that's why I said good and bad. Good for buyers since they can easily get money back, bad for sellers since PP is almost always on buyer's side.

Scammers who receive product/service and still ask for a refund are something else...

Hi, social-growth.co also charges me every month even if I don't use their service. I emailed them several times to stop to charge my credit card and refund me. But they don't reply. I even can't get in their website. What should I do? Can I complain them to the stripe?

I don't know about anywhere else, but I know where I'm from, if the bank has to perform a charge back for an unauthorised transaction, the other party gets stung with the charge back fee. The bank said it's a good one to threathen them with as people don't usually want to pay money to lose money!
