Do-Follow vs No-Follow.. What's Really Up!?

ofc nofollow links are need. take any natural site (with no blackhat links) and half of them are always nofollow.

@t0mmy what you think about building additional tiers below nofollow links? i usually exclude them but maybe i shouldnt

Why would no-follow matter at all to SEO when the links that are ignored by GoogleBot alltogether? I know that, as head of web spam for Google, Matt Cutts is obviously not gonna give us the full details on how to rank sites, but anyone who has ever tested SEO can look no further than the Google Search Console to see that no-follow links are not included as he said

Here's a article from MOZ(my only source for SEO info outside of Google) confirming what I said also that nofollow links have no direct impact on SEO: (https://moz.com/blog/seo-value-nofollow-links

"So nofollowed links, not a direct impact, but potentially a very powerful, indirect way to get lots of good links and lots of good SEO value.

I don't see the point either.. they don't pass "PR" or "link juice" (exactly what this guy above is talking about.. although just one piece of the puzzle) as people like to call it, so blasting them in order to power up that side of things up like you would with d0-follow links doesn't make much sense.

Great post, t0mmy.

Your writing style is very similar to my own style, when writing informational articles.

While I always appreciate the content of your posts, I also like to analyze your article posts to see how they perform from an SEO perspective to learn even more. How they rank is one metric, but I also look at the title chosen, the headings chosen, related words and the correlation between the segments of headers/content to the overall main title of the article.

Learning from one of the best in the industry isn't just about absorbing the information relayed, but also how that information is assembled and presented.

Sure enough, there's your new thread (as of today). Impressive.

Is it true that you sell no-follow links at your agency?
And is it true that every time someone buys a no-follow link from your agency, you make money?
So then, would you say you have an incentive to convince people that no-follow links have SEO value?
You didn't answer the question. It's either yes or no. Do you have an incentive to convince people that no-follow links have SEO value, yes or no?

Thank you, your honor.

Yes I do sell them, but I sell a lot more do-follow ones to be honest.. if you read the first bit of this thread you'd know this post was written because of that very fact - clients asking the current state of no-follow links.

I always enjoy these sorts of posts, it's a good thing people sharing here pay no heed to them or we'd have a forum lacking a lot of content. So yes, I also sell press releases, onsite SEO, Outreach, social media verification and so on.. all of which I've covered in articles here and on my blog. I can shoot you a few links to those threads too if you wish.

Finally, after reading several articles, I understand what are the differences and benefits of Do-Follow and No-follow, thanks Tommy.

Why pay 1000€ for a 99% worthless NF when you can get a 1000$ 100% working DF link

But please spread the BS. It won't die. Like Broscience

Wow lol.. Well done, almost a year later and you’re still the self righteous arrogant little ejit I described you as in https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/do-follow-vs-no-follow-whats-really-up.978902/page-2#post-10473797 of this thread. I wonder how much you’ve actually accomplished in that time frame, I’m betting very little.

At least your derp level is consistent.. and I see your lack of actual substance around the forums is still lacking too.. /slow clap

The only reason I can say why OP write this post is convenice people to pay $1k for a nofollow link from authority sites which OP cant get ******** links from...
