Hi guys,

I'm about to reach 30k followers in Linkedin and I'd like to start optimising my network by unfollowing profiles based on a number of criteria such as inactive, location, keywords, etc.

is anyone aware of this?

thanks

I don't think there is one that could help you do it in one go, but you can just go to your Networks and hover on the option (three dots in horizontal). Yes, you have to do it manually for now.

thanks although i'm trying to avoid the long hours...

Take a look at iMacros. If you can do the stuff you want in a browser, there's a big chance that you can automate it with iMacros with a little effort.

It can be that you need to scrape your followers first, extract them by those criteria. Extraction by location and keyword can't be too hard. However i'm not sure about the inactivity. What would you consider an inactive account?

Anyway, when you have the data, you can order it with a text editor like Notepad++ or Excel and feed it back to the macro to unfollow the desired users. Just record a macro of the unfollow process, that should be the easy part.

At least that's my theory. :)

If it sounds too complicated, you can always hire someone to build a custom tool for you.

I did not hear about such a function. But you can search them through specific companies. You can see for a moment what audience is in them.

Haven't tried it myself but I was told Followinglike can do it
