Hi all, a good advice will be welcome

I have a dedicate server withi this hosting, an expesive one, I will not say the name now or ever

After 7 days of bad support service I complain with the owner of my hosting, I wrote a complaint in the ticket system, I was upset yes because 7 days of not getting the service I paid, but i did not lack of respect ever. After 3 minutes of my complaint my sites went offline, my ticket hasent been answered, my cpannel is not accessible and my SSH access is dead

Its been like that for more than 1 day, no body is talking to me or replying to me and I am pretty sure that I am been punished for that complaint, like I have no right to say what I think!

What a person like me can do about this? I know I cant do a shit obviously, but what do you think

Regards

It sounds very bad. You can try call them. Apologize first. Maybe they get less excited after 1,2 days.

As what they are doing is not legal, you can take legal action.

Also go to hosting forums and see if you can find them there and make a complaint in these forums so everyone knows.

Well, I am sorry to hear that. How did you make the payment? You could always refute the charges.

You could always name the host and see if that helps get you back online.

I hope you had a backup that you can just pick up and move on.

Well, legal action never, the last thing I want is getting into a fight with anybody, they were really nice with me always, good service, good everything, in fact the owner was like my goodfather on internet, we had an issue like a year ago but all was fixed then til this situation in the last days, this situatiion is really hurting me bacause of the amounth of money/time I have invested in 2 years, but I will need to wait to see whats heppens. Thanks

Hope it works out for you soon.

One of the main reason I always say back up are King. If something liked this happen you could pick up a cheap vps load your backup and be up and running until the issue was worked out.

Best of luck

I suggest you name them in the thread with a link back to their site. They will probably take some action then.

Obviously if this is not resolved in 24 hours then you need to move host immediately.

Despite the fact that "The Customer is God", you should also remember that whoever you are speaking to is a human being and shouldn't be treated in a way you wouldn't want to be treated yourself. That doesn't mean the host should punish you in a way like that. Any way to get a refund (PayPal dispute?)? Any other ways of letting them know you're off?

What is your provider name? They should provide you timeframe to fix complaint issues or, provide you the backup of the server.

You should give us a provider name. Someone may have the same problem like you

There are like 50% chances that the owner to be an member of this forum so tell us who's the company/owner.

There is no such animal, nor Customers nor the seller aka service providers are Gods. There are rules , terms, communication and cooperation.

Downtime is bad for business, no matter how well you know the owner.. I suggest to try to switch to another provider if your server is dead for more than couple of days.

Clearly, they were only nice because you were a customer. I'd personally never enter such relations with any of my business partners. I'd straight away take legal actions if they are a legitimate company. Don't be Mr nice guy it will hurt you in the long run.
