Likes not increasing as account grows

I run a fashion and get about 100 likes per post with 6k followers. 5K are fake just to help the account get more conversion. I am now at 7k and using a bot doing follow/unfollow/like and I still get relatively the same amount of likes per post. Anyone know what would help?

Most likely though:
-Having bought so many followers which basically aren't doing anything on your account your engagement rate went to roughly 2%. Either instagram gave you a shadow ban for buying followers or their algorithm determined that your posts just won't show to most of your followers due to the bad engagement

Buying followers is always a mistake if you are keen on engagement in my opinion. I would start over if I were you as the account is still small. Then work on targeting potential followers more successfully. The followback ratio isn't the most important thing, it's the engagement that counts so target users who interact with other accounts rather than those who just follow.

Make your page more nice loonking, post only HQ photos, nice bio, niche related name...etc

Hey so to update I have my account on private and am using a macro to get rid of the first 5k peopled that followed me and maybe another k depending on the engagement on the next photo. I also post high-quality photos, have a nice bio, and niche related name. So I will see if this helps.

5K are fake just to help the account get more conversion

That is the exact opposite what will buying fake followers do. Sure, you can buy some followers to look more "famous", but not 5/6 of all your followers. Fake followers, if you need any, should only be a rather small portion of all of your followers.

So here is the big question that I am concerned with and I believe you should be concerned with too.

Is your account flagged?

I have a personal cosplay account that's 5 years old. At the beginning, I did the same as you, fake followers, then removed them. And I also did slight lowkey botting, just likes... then I stopped and for a over a year have done things vanilla.

My content is damn good and my engagement is okay, but it's always seeming like Instagram is limiting my overall reach. Some of my shit it viral worthy (atleast in the cosplay niche) but it never sees light of day.

So my worries to you friend, is if your content will forever be flagged to not perform well by Instagrams shithole algorithm
