Newbie need some help about SEO!

Hi, everyone, I'm newbie and have a question about SEO

I used Yoast Seo to optimize On page but I do not really understand about exact phrase. For example, I try to optimize a long tail "how to make moon cake". If I don't use exact phrase like " mooncake, I will show you how to make it" in title, des, h1, h2...then Yoast Seo will say that keyword has not been optimized

So I want to understand clearly about that, Hope you guys help me. Thank so much!

Yoast is only a guide and works with an exact match keyword, it will always give a negative report like you suggest. The way you are using the keyword is not wrong, although I always try to optimise the title for my keyword phrase.

Try to change your title, des, h1, h2 as your keyword. It will help you in ranking too.
