What is better for WordPress SEO - pages or posts?

All right guys thanks for your answers as i can see you all said post or page it doesn't metter so ? me ! why i'm asking this stupid question is i saw a lot of blogs using pages! how did i know that " as i think"

when you make a post in wordpress they include the date when the post was published in the link of the post like " www.example.com/2017/10/something.html/

but the most posts that i saw during my research time almost all the blogs they don't include the date in the posts "which the pages do", so is this right? is this any way they do it without using pages ?

You can change that awful date-based URL structure to something else in Settings > Permalinks. It really depends on what you're trying to do.

it's by default Custom structure but when i wanna publish a new post they don't let me change or edit the /2017/10/ thing ?!!

Click post name or whatever, this is getting weird. Some of these are very basic Wordpress stuffs that you can quickly Google it.

@googlebis Tick/choose/select the "post name" and your posts will appear without the month/year--ish.

When it comes to on page SEO for WordPress what is better in your opinion - posts or pages? I was wondering because pages seem to be stronger in my opinion and are better for ranking and fighting for particular keywords. What do you think?

A post contain more value,, it contains author, dates, follow ups, social buttons, comment section,, these thing are more valuable then a page, cause its missing those, google loves communication and Engagment between webpages / domains & Users
