First of all please dont check my english its wired i know.
We can see many people are posting thread that seo is dead, affiliate marketing is dead,internet marketing is dead but i am sure you are wrong.
You feel that becasuse actually you are lazy to work , In my view technology never die offcourse the way and method got outdated because of many compitator but
actually it was not dead insted of dead its growing daily.
First of all i wanna say to newbie affiliate please dont buy those bullshit ebook and video courses thay have only mentioned some outdated traffic sources and
some a,b,c,d for newbie to get started if you are really interested to join affiliate training try to join affiliate summit or try to get some live affiliate training
online.
So lets us go on directly to the point.

Affiliate marketing is known as marketing arrangement by which an online retailer pays commision to an external website for traffic or sales generated from its refferal.

This is the most hardest things for newbie to get started on cpa network because most of the network asked for previous performacne report.
If you are newbie just dont try to get enter on big network such as maxbounty and peerfly they will reject you for 100%.
So follow these rules before applying on cpa network.
1.Dont try to scam them writing more then your experiences they can easily detect you.
2.Every cpa network will ask for promotional method so below i have wroted some example you can simply copy and paste that.
-If you have planned to promote it throgh social media then.
I have planned to promote offer using social media marketing , using facebook paid promotion by targeting audience and niche.
If you have website recieving good traffic then.
-I have a website where i am getting over 2000+ daily visitors (Or mention how much you have) and i have planned to promote offers using displaying banner on my website.
3.They may ask you where you will promote offers just try to use USA,CANADA and UK they will approve you because 80% of every network offers ascept those geos.
4.They may ask you your monthly earning if you are newbie just choose 500-1000.
